how to use it
Please read the Clarisonic User Guide completely before using your Clarisonic Skin Care System. Wet your skin and the brush head with water. Apply cleanser to your skin. I've been using this for about 2 weeks now. I noticed my skin is a smoother and cleaner, esp my nose areas. It helps me gets rid of the dead skin and white heads on my nose very well. (much better than those nose strips). I have super oil skin and prone to acne, so I always keep in mind that I need to clean and take care of skin very well to prevent pimples. This tool has make my life so much easier. I definitely recommend this product. BTW, i did not use the cleanser that comes with this product, I use my own clarifying cleanser and other lotion that minimize oil.
I have oily, acne-prone skin and I bought this based on rave reviews from bloggers and other sources. After using it for a month, I did not notice ANY improvement in my skin whatsoever. In fact, I venture to say that I think my skin got WORSE. I seemed to have more breakouts than usual and my skin seemed pretty dull (though smoother). I achieved much better results using the Glycolix Elite Treatment Pads 20%, which I highly recommend. I guess it's not fair to rate this device on its ability to clear up acne, but I give it one star because I think it actually made my skin worse.
I absolutely love this thing! I use it in the shower and it leaves my skin so soft and supple. I also noticed the few times I haven't used it that my serums and creams don't absorb into my skin as nicely like when I do use it.
I used the cleanser that came with it, and it was nice but right now I'm just using it with my choice of cleanser and it works just fine with that too.
I would definitely recommend this.
I absolutely love My Mia. When you are done with using it, your face feels like glass. I am getting lots of compliments on how my face looks so smooth. Buy it ASAP..Just sent one to my sister in Tennessee.
I recently visited a spa and had a facial...the technician used a Clairsonic device on me and when I left my face felt wonderful...the next morning my skin was still glowing. I made up my mind that I wanted one to use at home, so I researched the deals out there and found the Mia. As far as I can tell, it's the same device in a slightly easier to travel size, and the charger takes up less counter space at a lower price. This website had the best price I found on it, so I ordered. It was delivered very quickly, and I am THRILLED with the device. It gives my skin a wonderful feeling, leaves me just glowing and dewy (I am 55, so this is wonderful). Get one...you won't be disappointed.
I got this Mia because it has an international charger (with costs about 40 bucks if I get it separately). It's slightly smaller than the regular Clarisonic brush, and it works almost identical with the more expensive regular brush (except it does not have the 20 second beep).
I replaced the normal brush head with a blue delicate brush head, because the normal one is too strong for me.
