Just like the Solar Moisturizer, I love this cleanser. Doesn't over dry the skin - leaves it feeling clean but not tight. I've applied it to dry skin for a minute or so before adding water to my face - didn't realize this was the suggested exfoliation method but it seemed like a good thing. You can feel the tingle - great exfoliation. Best to avoid getting into eyes but even when I do, it's not very painful. I've been using this for over 5 years and will continue. I keep one bottle by the sink and another in the shower. LOVE IT!
