This product does what it's supposed to do: Prevent dark spots from appearing. It doesn't get rid of existing dark spots, which is fine because my only goal is looking for products of this nature was avoiding hydroquinone. It's my understanding that your skin cells make a full cycle in 6 weeks, and I'd say that I started noticing a clear difference around 4-6 weeks. In other words - this product does what I expected it to do and I'm really happy with it.
I am 25 year old Latina, with a medium tan skin, who is a runner. My skin started getting a bit uneven from all the running (I do use sunblock, DQ's Solar Moisturizer SPF for daily use and Shiseido SPF 55 for my long distance runs). I started using Vitalight at night to help correct this out. So far it really has been evening out my skin (yay!) and I love it because it is pretty moisturizing which is helpful since the sun also dries my skin out. I also have been slathering it on my neck b/c I get that weird car tan on the left side and I am happy to report it's going away!
this is an update to my previous post. i have now been using the product for 4 months and have no noticeable improvement. i am still as age spotty as ever.
have been using product since christmas (2 months)for age spots. i have notice ever so slight lightening, (approx 5%, leaving 95% to go) this is no where near what i was expecting. i have followed directions and applied daily sun block but have not much sun anyway due to winter. will continue to apply product on hope for further improvement. will post update if i notice any further changes.
I had dark freckles removed by a dermatologist. They returned and I began using vitalite. I use it everyday and not only have those dark spots disappeared, but no new ones have formed. It does not irritate my skin like other products I have used.
I received Skin Vitalight as a sample and have been using it for 2 weeks. I am very impressed. It appears to have lightened a prominent (to me) age spot on my face.
