Zinc Oxide provides non-irritating protection against UVA and UVB rays. Plankton Extract promotes healthy skin cells. Vitamin C fights skin damage.
how to use it
Apply to clean skin in the morning. Repeat after prolonged sun exposure.
I have combination, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and finding a sunscreen that is sufficiently protective without causing irritation, clogged pores, breakouts, dryness, or greasiness has proved to be quite the challenge. This product works. Zinc oxide is pretty much the only sunscreen filter that doesn't bother my skin, so I love that this product uses only zinc oxide. It applies easily with no white cast, despite the zinc, and it absorbs well, allowing me to apply generously to protect my very fair, freckle-prone skin. I actually find it to be not quite moisturizing enough for my skin, so I apply a thin layer of moisturizer underneath first. And even on hot, humid days, it doesn't make my face greasy. Yet even though a silicone is the second ingredient, it doesn't leave that slick silicone-y feeling on my skin. I wish it were a little more reasonably priced, but I'm willing to shell out for it since it works for my finicky skin.
