(Previously called the Super Skin Lightening Gel) Donell Lightening Gel is a potent blend of skin lighteners that helps diminish hyperpigmentation caused by the sun and aging. This formulation contains 4% Azelaic Acid and 3% Kojic Acid, natural alternatives to Hydroquinone. Glycolic and Lactic Acid Polymers are added to the Lightening Gel, creating a very effective formula that is less irritating to the skin. I am a customer @ fran coy spa in ann arbor, mi. I've had glyco peels - I am black with hyper pigmentation (dark) around my eyes and on my chin - I was told that using glyco bleaching/claryfing gel along with the peels would help diminish these dark discoloration- compare to a less expensive product - glytone is not doing the jod - I am very disapointed. thank you.

YES IT MADE SPOT TEMPORARILY DARKER, BUT THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID IT WOULD, IF YOU KEEP USING IT THE DARK SPOT WILL EVENTUALLY PEEL OFF AND FADE.NEXT TIME STICK WITH IT, IT TAKES A MINUTE.

I have a medium brown (oily) complexion and suffer with acne and acne scars (dark spots). As soon as I began using the product it made the spots and area arund it darker.

I have been using Donell Lightening Gel for a few weeks now and it works. I use it on my knees and it softened them and lightened the discoloration.

Because I have olive skin I cannot use any of the vitamin c or glycolic acid products or they turn my skin really dark. This product really lightened my old skin care mistakes and helped my undereye circles and lightened my skin--I have to continually use it though or else my skin goes dark again.
