Elta MD Transparent Zinc Oxide Sunscreen

Background
Elta MD was created due to the lack of variety in the sun protection products available to the public. They strive to bring the highest sun protection possible without the use of irritating ingredients or undesirable formulations.
Science
Elta MD uses a transparent form of Zinc Oxide called Z-Cote. It protects the skin from both UVA rays that cause aging and UVB rays that cause burning, without leaving a white cast on the skin. Zinc Oxide is the only ingredient that uniformly blocks both UVA and UVB rays, including the long UVA rays that have been shown to cause photoaging and skin cancer.
