HOW TO USE IT
Squeeze a small amount (1-2 teaspoons)of Exfoliating Body Wash onto a loofah or wet washcloth and massage over the entire body, working into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Gently massage Body Lotion onto arms, legs, and other parts of your body that require special attention. For best results, use the lotion immediately after shower or bath. Use as often as desired.

This product worked almost immediately on me. Within 2 days, my KP had improved dramatically. However, I don't understand why this Co. has to add dyes (blue) and the awful frangrance to this product. It nearly make me sick to use it and smell same. Companies need to stop doing this. Why add chemicals and dyes to something that is supposed to improve skintone, etc. I understand it's marketing, but please, not everyone likes chemicals/fragrance. Thank you.

I had KP on my upper arms my whole life and thought I was the only one. This lotion has cured it for good. Yes, you must use it every day or the bumps will come back. The most important thing is to exfoliate in the shower with a scrub like Tree Hut sugar scrub-- the lotion loosens the bumps but you must scrub them off! A body wash won't do it. There is peeling in the beginning but that's good! The bumps are coming off! If there is irritation just use less or skip a day. Once the bumps are gone it takes only a small amount of lotion for maintenance.

I have been KP kit for a month now. It really made my skin so smooth and soft. It lessened the appearance of my goose bumps on my arms and legs. I guess if I use it for a very long time, it will make my skin even smoother. Though it's quite pricey, all I can say that its worth it. I bought the kit a month ago, I still have almost half a bottle coz I only use a small amount. YOU GUYS SHOULD TRY THIS PRODUCT!!!! It's the best lotion and body wash I've ever had in my whole life.

Oops submitted my response too quickly... I'd give it 3 stars... Do you all realize that the product only works for a few weeks and then the KP condition is back. And once you get used to applying Glytone, you have to keep buying the product to make sure your skin doesnt look as bad??? It's like investing $55 per month for life!!! CAUSE KP HAS NO PERMANENT CURE!!!

The peeling is regular. The symtoms of keratosis pilaris is making your skin dry and doesn't peel as often as other people. If it is treated your skin often starts to peel.

At first my daughter complained that it "stings" but she never had redness or other lasting reaction. After a few application, the stinging wasn't bad anymore. You do have to be careful to avoid fresh scratches or scrapes though. Since KP is genetic and doesn't really go away, this looks like a good product to use on and off for maintenance.

I used the lotion and the body wash religiously. I was very adamant about thoroughly lathering my entire body when I showered and I applied the lotion immediately after drying off. Glytone did not work at all. Perhaps it works for some people, but not me. I have keratosis on my cheeks, upper arms, upper thigs/buttocks, and "red dots" on my forearms, lower legs, and stomach. The lotion left my skin feeling dry and itchy. I would give 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest.

Like every product that claims that it help Keratosis Pilaris, it will make the condition greatly improve for the first few weeks, then the condition comes back worse than ever. Dermatologist have told me that their is no good cure for this and unfortunatly Im starting to believe it. Cold weather makes the condition worse.

I am getting ready to order my second bottle of the body wash today. Although my bumps have not disappeared completely, they have lessened, they do not itch anymore and there is no discoloration. I haven't even made it half way throught the bottle of lotion that came in my kit, so it is a great deal to order both of the products. Be careful with the lotion, it will burn the skin if you apply to much in one area---but yet it gets rid of 95% of my problem! I am a believer!

I've been suffering for years from Keratosis Pilaris, and for the longest time I had been misdiagnosed from doctors and dermatoligists regarding my condition! I have lived with mild KP my whole life, but after the birth of my daughter and the changes in my hormones, I became afflicted with severe KP all over my arms. In addition to the KP, I have severe scarring from picking and scratching. I just purchased this product 3 weeks ago after reading all of the reviews I was a little skeptical but I thought I should at least try . I have had KP my whole life it first started just on the backs of my arms and legs and now it covers my torso about 80 % , I have been to dermatologists and was told there was NOTHING i could do!! I even had a doctor laugh at me and said it would only get worse ! ( JERK !) I have had KP on my arms and legs for as long as I can remember. After about a week of using the body wash and lotion my skin is the smoothest it has ever been. The lotion is a little thick to apply but it is very moisturising. It is winter where I am and in addition to the KP, the skin on my legs usually gets dry and scaly. This has not happened since I started using the body lotion. I can still see the red dots but I think over time they may fade with continued use.

I have had KP since I was 5 and no other cream has worked as well as this one. I also referred to my skin as Lizard skin because of the bumps! not anymore!! It really helps the smooth the skin and decrease the bumps ( of course u can still see i have red bumps but it's not as noticeable n u can't feel them anymore!!!)...Just be careful to stop using the lotion if u'r gonna be in the sun..i never burn n it turned my arms red ..my fault tho for not reading the warning on the bottle!..

I have suffered with KP since I was a kid, though we had no name for it back then. Lots of pointy, red blotchy bumps. Nothing has ever helped - no lotions, not scrubbing with an exfoliating pad, nothing. THEN - I try this stuff! After TWO applications, there was a noticeable difference! My skin was MUCH smoother and the red blotchiness was fading. I couldn't believe something could act so quickly, but it did, and just continues to make my skin look better and better. For the first time in my life, I'm not embarassed to be wearing sleeveless dresses. I'm not so sure the body wash is really necessary, though. It's only on your skin briefly then washes off. I think it's the lotion that does the trick, and you can buy that separately. I've also used the lotion on my rough feet, and it's been helping them a lot as well!

I had bad KP on arms, legs and bum but now it goes un-noticed. KP caused me a great deal of unhappiness and made me paranoid and weiry of my skin and image. I purchased this duo set from a skin clinic at a higher cost and after using it for about a week, about 5 days out of 7 days, it made a real difference to my skin. Long time KP sufferer [calves & thighs]. Received 1st shipment Oct 2007. Having read other reviews / suggestions, limited myself to 3x week max. Results within 2 weeks - wow - kp 90% eliminated [therefore only rating of 4]. And like other reviews, my skin is so much softer now. One more thing to pass on to potential customers - did not require large amount of either product - 2 months later & both bottles are 1/2 full. This is a good value considering the other $20-30 bottles of AHA products that did nothing/nada. But if you still are wary of parting with $55, put it on your holiday wish list [unless you really need another sweater...]

When i first got this product i didnt think it would work because i tried everything, but this product really works. In the beginning when using the cream you'll notice more bumps, and your skin will be peeling thats because its bringing all the bumps out, and giving you new clear skin, so dont worry and continue. It also slightly burns, but only for a few minutes. 3 weeks later i really noticed a difference my skin was smoother and the bumps went down i didnt have as many bumps as i did before. So i'm continuing this product. I reordered more and I highly recommend this product.. its the BEST !

I've had KP since I was 2 years old and I'm 24 now. I've had KP rubra on my cheeks, chin and eyebrows, and regular KP on my arms, outer thighs, shins and knees, and this is THE ONLY thing that has faded the redness and smoothed the bumps and I've tried everything. It stings a little, but I use it for 5 days and then use unscented sensitive skin lotion on the 6th and 7th day, then repeat so that it doesn't tear up my sensitive skin. FABULOUS! On the 2nd day of use, my friend grabbed my arm and was so surprised at how smooth it felt.. and my cheeks? This is the first time EVER that I've had been able to use blush because the blotchy, ruddy, redness on my cheeks, that I couldn't cover up with any sort of make up is GONE!

I ordered and used this product while i was pregnant because my Kp got worse then before. Now I've had my baby who is 6 weeks and I have the kp bumps worse then ever. While I used this product it didnt work that great. I felt like the bumps were easier to squeeze and pick at because of how the lotion made your arm feel.. just too sticky. It didnt motivate me to keep using it. I didnt see very good results.. The bumps over time got a little smaller but they were still there and a lot of them.

Fantastic product. i've had KP since I was 2, and I am now 23.. this got rid of the bumpiness and decreased the redness significantly. I use it 4 times a week, as it is too harsh to use every single day--your skin WILL peel, as that is what glycolic acid does.

I think I have keratosis pilaris and I've been looking for some sort of solution to this skin condition so I bought this Glytone kit. The first time I used it, my skin felt smoother than ever... but then the second day I used it (the following day), more bumps started to appear!!!! so i stopped using the product. I dont know if this is suppose to happen.. but for the people who stayed consistent with this product is this suppose to happen and with continuous use, does it go away? Hello, i recently submitted an update about glytone that never got posted....this is an update...in some areas, the bumps are completely gone but in all areas..i have super soft smooth skin..for the first time in my life. And i had the WORST CASE OF KP KNOWN TO MAN..i was literally covered in these ugly scabby bumps but the lord has blessed this stuff to work and now i am a customer for life.

I wrote a posting on 2/18/07 and have decided to give an update. I have been using the products for 2 months and 1 week now, and have 75% improvement on the KP i have on my arms and about 50% on my thighs. On some areas i have no more KP period. Yeah i'm left with what looks like a mild sun burn for a couple of days, but it doesn't bother me.Remember that this is like like getting a Chemical Peel, only a lower acid level then what the chemical peel would be... a mini mini peel if u will. If you want to reduce redness or tenderness just lay off the product for a day or two but always put a humectant of some sort to keep the skin moisturized. Then continue back on it. Occasionally do I get the stinging but it goes away within minutes. (don't be a wimp! Beauty is Pain!!) Besides how bad do you guys really want to get rid of this? Don't give up! If I could post pictures to show you all how bad my KP was and how it's like now, you would probably start stocking up on this stuff like crazy. You really got to be consistent. I'd been humiliated with my skin for 40 years, when I first discovered this stuff. After using it daily for four days, I was amazed at how soft my skin was. Then, it started to "sting." So I gave myself a 3-day rest, then used it again. I use it on Sundays, then again on Wednesday or Thursday. And that seems to be the magic system for me. I have no more stinging, and my skin stays soft!

I've had KP since i was about 8yrs old and have tried pretty much everything so after reading about a website that a random woman made raving on her success that 15%AHA had been working on her and she had posted pics on her website of her improvement over the months, I decided to look for an AHA product and ran into Glytone KP kit(it is 17.5%AHA for the lotion and 8%aha in the body wash). It's been a week so far, and noticed a difference within the first few days, but on the forth day I as well got a "burn"(peeling).The weird thing is that it only "burned" in some areas of my arm and not others.Anyhow, I just laid off it for a two days and used eucerin lotion to keep it moisturized and in 2 days went right back on it. In fact after it healed, it was smoother and the redness of the bumps had toned down. If you have sensitive skin and have been using the wash and the cream, you may want to just use the cream for awhile first or the body wash (which ever you prefer) to have your skin get used to the product. I read a review from someone who had used glytone for more than a month and wrote saying that they had used the product and it had stopped working. It could be also that her skin has gotten used to it so it needs a higher percentage of AHA.(Perhaps 20%) I wouldn't be so quick to judge on the product especially how most of the people here have only used the product for a week or two. Remember that everyone is different and it may work quicker for some than for others so be patient. It took years for all those dead cells to pile up so give it some time to get rid of.

I've tried numerous products prescribed by my dermatologist and non of them have delivered the results which in comparison, this inexpensive product has delivered. I can't even remember the last time my arms were smooth but glycotone has transformed that within a matter of days. It hasn't done much for the scars or dark patches but it has definitely stopped the growth of anymore potential bumps that have been causing the scarring. Wonderful product!

I've had a love/hate relationship with Glytone, especially the lotion. It really does help with my KP and makes my skin very smooth. However, it also makes my newly softened clear skin very susceptible to sunburn. If you need proof just check out the backs of your arms and legs after a bout in the sun when the rest of you is as white as a ghost. The sunburn warning is on the bottle, but I never noticed it until it was almost too late. Ironically, I wouldn't have been in a tank top if my arms didn't look acceptable. When I stop using these products, my skin reverts to its previous bumpy condition. So I use the body wash and lotion faithfully until a few days before vacation, slather on sunscreen and hope for the best. My skin might start to break out again before vacation is over, but at least it isn't fried.

I don't think anyone without KP can know just how amazing it is to actually feel smooth all over. I have tried so many products over the years,prescribed and otherwise, and this is by far the best! I have been using this product for 8 days now, and I'm so thrilled at the results. This is the time of year when my skin starts to get really ugly, and it went from really ugly and bumpy to smooth and soft so quickly. It is not completely perfect yet, but it's close enough that I'm ready to break out the tank tops so I can finally show off my muscles at the gym without feeling like everyone is staring at my skin. Not a good feeling!! I'm going to order more of this stuff, I wish they had it in bulk! I have to add that the lotion stings like a B***h! But it is oh so worth the temporary discomfort!

i remeber trying to use bleach to get rid of these ugly bumps individually ...yeah one by one but that was because nothing else worked then i found this product for $29 bucks and less than a week later my skin was perfect if you model or want perfect skin trust me this is the simplest solution.

I found out that keratosis is a symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you have it, get your thyroid checked!

I went to a dermatologist and she had me try many different creams and nothing worked. Microdermabasion was very expensive so I had to stop and it still did not make much of a difference.... SO then I am doing research and I get this page ..hmm sounds too good to be true..These bumps on my arms bother me so much and on my legs too... OK I'll try WOW! in 2 days I saw a HUGE difference..Then my sis asked what I was doing to my arms they looked smooth... what? Never heard that before.. 2 weeks later it's almost gone.. I only wish I found this product before my wedding..I am actually wearing tank tops which I avoided due to my arms being gross....Needless to say I love this product and will continue to use it... So worth the money .. oh yes it does sting a bit but worth it...

I've been using the Glytone KP kit for 5 days now and found it to be a vast improvment for my condition. My arms are actually soft and for the most part the bumps are going away. I use the exfoliating wash when I shower and apply the cream after I shower and sometimes once more daily. So far so good!

I am the mother of a 15 year old son, whom has had these bumps all of him his whole life. He started using this Glytone, 2 days ago, and the difference is astounding! Only 2 days and his skin is starting to smooth. We were both very skeptical because I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to help him. He is so self concious about his skin. I sure hope that this continues to get better and will eventually completely disappear. Thanks to whomever discovered that this worked - I owe you big time!

I am 35 yrs old and have had KP for as long as I can remember. I remember failing gym class in High School because I refused to change into shorts because of the bumps on my legs. I was soooo tired of people saying "oh you have goosebumps!" Bite me- there not goosebumps!! I've spent so much of my life trying to find cures. Everything from diet to natural homeopathic remedies to hard core perscription medicine,like Retin A. I have the redness that accomponies KP sometimes. I believe its called Keritosis Pilaris Rosacia or something like that. I feel for you all. It sucks. I have found that incorporating more "healthy oils" in my diet helps somewhat. I've tried unrefined Coconut oil, eating a tablespoon a day,that helps my skin as whole making it very soft. But that only things that REALLY work for me are getting a tan,that helps the most, and Glytone. Glytone doesnt get rid of the red which was disappointing but I have no more bumps. From what I've learned, it seems this is definately hereditary, and it seems to affect mostly, Irish, English, Scottish decent....lucky me, I'm all of the above! Also I wonder if I have a sort of Vitimin D deficiency, since the sun provides that to our bodies and the sun gets rid of it for me. Since I dont have the resources to really research it for sure I'll stick with what works for me now. Good luck to all.

hey everyone .. just wanted to put in my opinion.. i keep seeing things like this product doesnt work cuz of sensitive skin n stuff ... the product description DOES say its an intense level of glycolic acid .. geezums so if u know u got sensitive skin n u got burned, YOU SHOULDNT HAVE USED IT. i actually like the fact that it says its not mild cuz everything else is and it is just too weak to really get rid of the bumps.. so if u have sensitive skin, JUST DONT post a testimonial and say its bad n discourage other ppl.

The lotion is great alone, so is the bodywash if your case is mild. You should not scrub or shave first, and you should let your skin dry for a bit first so you do not absorb too much product. If you are peeling alot you are using it to often. Scrubbing only makes problem worse.

I bought this lotion along with the body wash to get rid of Keratosis Pilaris. Together, they burned my skin, but I have found a great method. I exfoliate the back of my arms with a fruit exfoliant salt scrub I got from C.O. Bigelow and then I apply this lotion twice a day. My KP is still a little noticeable, but he bumps are gone and my arms are smooth. I definitely recommend this lotion to help with KP!

I have had issues with KP and redness all my life. I have been to dermatologists and tried tons of different products. This is the only thing that has worked for me. It has made the bumps on my arms and thighs disappear in about a week. I still have the redness, but this product makes no claim to help with redness. If anyone has suggestions for redness, please let me know. If you have KP, at least try this product. I'm sure it doesn't work for all skin types, but at least give it a try. Maybe it will work for you too!

I have never had problems with my skin-aside from KP. Preparing for a wedding, I decided to use this product after reading the majority of great reviews. The first few days I felt the "tingle" that had been described by other users, then the "tingle" started to turn to a burn. By the fourth day I used it, when I applied the lotion, after the scrub (like the directions said)it burned so bad, I immediatley washed it off, but not before I got horrible blisters over 80% of the area I used it. Now I have open sores, bleeding blisters on the backs of my arms. Not exactly what I had in mind when preparing to wear a sleevless dress in a wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend testing this product out before making this expensive purchase. I had never had problems with sensitive skin in the past, and as far as I have seen there is no documentation of this product doing this to other users, but it most certainly caused me a great deal of pain, and my arms are quite a bit more unsightly now then they were. Buyer Beware!

I have had bumpy skin since I was a child. A few years ago my dermatologist told me to use the Wellskin lotion. It seemed to work, while I was using it. The dermatologist is a very expensive one and he charged quite a bit more for the lotion. I looked it up and seems to have been reformulated and come out as this Glytone product. It was less espensive here and it has worked wonders. I've had these bumps most of my life, all 63 years! For awhile my skin seemed to peel, by bits and pieces. Now, it has a more even color and the bumps are almost gone. I love it and have bought some for my granddaughter who has inherited the bumps... I don't even remember my doctor calling this "Keratosis Pilaris", but the description fits. I highly recommend it.

i am 15 and i have suffered from KP since i was 12 and i have tried everything and i have been to the dermatologist nothing seems to works. i can nevr wear shirts or tank tops because i am so embarrassed of my arms there horrible and they are very red and bumby with an extremely bad unevened tones surface. i came across this product hoping for the best after reading all of these reviews. After using the kit for a week my skin dramatically became smoother but no change in the color of my skin. but then after the next week it reversed into becoming worse and made my skin peel like crazy and it is not going away and is incredibly dry now so this product is not what its cut out to be im still trying to find a product that works. please help :[

I noticed this condition on my upper arms front and back of thighs back of calves and bottom when I was pregnant with my second child. It continued to develop and annoy me even a year after having my baby. Its ugly and made me selfconcious. I have been using the wash and moisturizer for about a month and I can say that its completely gone but its about 75better than it was. I am glad that I tried it. Hopefully it will continue to clear up. Amazing product

Im 37 years old have been battling KP on my armsupper thighsbottom for as long as I can remember. This is the FIRST product Ive ever used that has actually worked on a longterm basis. Its not a cureall but if you CONSISTENTLY use this product as directed the bumps WILL go away stay away. I still experience some redness but at least my skin is finally smooth. If you stop using it the bumps come back with a VENGEANCE so be diligent. My 4year olds condition has also greatly improved so the little ones can benefit too. Bring on the tank tops bikinis

After using this product for two days my KP on my arms was gone. I find the body lotion can be a little drying so I alternate it with LaRochePosay Lipikar Balm. My skin has never been softer. It sounds like KP may never go away but its nice to find relief to this malady that affects a great number of people. Works great on your bum too

I am 23 years old and have had KP all my life. I used to get made fun of all the time when I would wear a tank top or shorts. I have been to the dermatologist and tried EVERYTHING from Lachydren to Retin A. I found Glytone a few months ago and WOW You really do have to use both the shower gel and the lotion every single day but the results are AMAZING My skin has never ever ever looked this good. I went out of town for a week didn bring it with me and yes the bumps came right back. I just started using it regularly again and right awaythe bumps were gone I actually got to wear shorts ALL summer

i cannot tell u how much i am thankful for stumbling upon this website. i am only 14 years old and have KP all over my body and face and wus soooo depressed.i have been to the dermatologist many times which i have gotten Differin which works wonderfully if u just have one u wnt to go away. i wus so mad i would just sit and pik them squeezes them and tearin the skin till it bled and left scars and red spots on my skin. but im rlly xcited to see a product with results u can see in just one use.but u have to constantly use this product or they come back.but its still works and is a musthave

Save your money and go see a dermatologiest instead. My arms started looking terrible when I was pregnant and have not gotten any better on their own. I bought this product because my sister is getting married in November and I want to look nice in my bridesmaid dress. I should have just gone to see a doctor. This product really feels like it is working for the first three or four days. You feel a tingling sensation when you apply the cream after using the shower scrub. After a week the tingle is gone. My husband claims he saw a little improvement. I however have seen none. I have had this product for about 6 weeks and use it everyday and still nothing. For the cost of a copay and to fill a prescription I should have just gone to the doctors office.

They all ripped me off But ever since i tried this product for two weeks twice a day.. i have found that it cleared up my sand paper red bumpy arms. For all the people out there suffering from your moms disease you should really try this product. Yea...my skin got a but softer but there was no change in appearance. The bumps didn go away. And after a while of using this product it made my skin irratated and red. Not worth it just buy a bottel of lotion.

this is the first review ive ever written so you know its got to be good. i have kp keratosis pilaris and if i would have had this prouct when i was growing up it would have saved me a lot of pain and humiliation. works better than the sun and in only one application you can tell the difference. highly highly recommended

This product has been the only thing that has been able to keep my KP under control. I have found that after bathing while the skin is wet gentle exfoliation with a buffing pad after several applications of Glytone helps to oll the dead skin off leaving the skin surface very smooth.

I have been using the kit for a while and see a definite improvement in the smoothness of my skin, but it isn't a miracle cure for KP. That, I think, would have to be an inside out treatment which currently doesn't exist. But it does make a difference in the softness and smoothness of my skin, which I like and will take it for what its' worth. : )
