This spray caused TERRIBLE eye irritation and swelling under and around my eyes. I shielded my eyes with my hand when I sprayed it on my face, but some got up in my eye area and caused severe problems. It took over a week for my eye area to return to normal. Please be extra careful when you use it. I threw mine away!

I have always had breakouts and have found that I am not only not breaking out but this covers everything yet feels like I am wearing nothing at all. The hydrating spray is a fav. its light and has a wonderfully delicate scent I am very happy with this line!
I love Jane Iredale amazing base - and also some of her other products. I also love the idea of a hydrating spritz to set the foundation and give a dewy finish. However, this spray causes my sensitive skin to turn red, blotchy and it burns. I definitely react negatively to it. Considering it's supposed to be for sensitive, dry skin - I thought I should warn. Something in this causes a spontaneous allergic-type reaction for me. I hated not using it, so I tried it about 4 times and had the same burning, red splotchy reaction each time. I had to throw it away :(
The bottle is a like a spray bottle and the pump can be unscrewed easily no matter how hard you try to make it secure. So, everytime I knocked over the the bottle by accident, the contents would spill over and the klutz that I am, I was done with it in less than a week.. which was a good thing for me because I couldn't tolerate the sweet smell of the perfumed water.
