how to use it
Apply to the apples of the cheeks. To contour and add dimension, apply a dark shade under the cheekbone and a bright shade on the apple of the cheek. Blend with fingers or a foundation brush. Can also be used on the lips for a wash of color.

Though it brightens up my face, it's too pink on my skin. I'm quite fair-skinned with freckles and a little bit of olive undertone (Irish and Italian), and I should have gone with a darker shade. This color would probably be best on someone who is very light-skinned with few to no freckles. Color aside, the formula is WONDERFUL; it's incredibly light and creamy, blends beautifully (note: I don't use foundation), and the cocoa smell is delicious. I tried a similar produce from the 100% Pure brand and the Jane Iredale is significantly better. I plan to purchase another (this time in a darker shade).

Clarity looks VERY pink in the pot. I opened it and thought I wasted my money. However when I swept two hyphens of blush on my cheeks, and then blended, it looked amazing. It added a healthy, vital glow that made me feel--and even look--twenty(ish) again. This is a must for fair-complected folk.
Tip: use it before you set your foundation with powder. I use liquid base so this cream formula blends flawlessly. However it drags on top of powder. Use it under.
