I have to say I love this eyelid primer, especially because even though I actually enjoy taking care of my skin, I don't like to take a lot of time to apply makeup, (particularly in the mornings!). I trust Jane Iredale products, and I just like them in general. This one is no exception: the primer goes on smoothly (I tend to have dry skin), and it looks good even if you get too lazy to apply shadow over it! Yay! My kind of makeup! However, if you're one of those primpy women/girls who'll go out only after you've carefully applied all your makeup so you'll look photo-shoot ready all the time, you will NOT be disappointed in this product, either. It goes on creamy (and yes, I use Jane I.'s shadow brush to apply--although the directions included in the primer box show you can simply apply with your finger), and it doesn't make my dryness-prone lids to flake or cake/doesn't empasize wrinkles or crinkles at all! I'm sort of fair-medium since I don't bake in the sun or tanning bed any more, and the canvas color worked for me. I knew I could not wear yellow or pink undertones, so choosing the color when ordering online, I chose the canvas because it looked the most neutral. I like it!!
