Finally a very sheer, super lightweight liquid sunscreen, which is just what my dark oily skin needs, especially in hot weather. I barely feel anything and like the matte formulation. I haven't used it long enough to say how it holds up on very sunny days, but I really like it so far.
I first used this sunscreen about 4 years ago at the recommendation of my dermatologist. It really clogs the pores in my T-zone, leaves my skin oily and caused breakouts but it was a trade off for me between breakouts and my super sun-sensitive skin (I get lots of brown spots and they are difficult to treat). I later discovered the SkinCeuticals sunscreen and switched which was GREAT. The breakouts stopped right away and my skin wasn't greasy all the time. I ran out of it and not wanting to throw away expensive sunscreen I switched back to La Roche Posay and the difference was immediate. I went straight back to constant break outs. So I'm 100% convinced this sunscreen is not good for acne prone skin. SkinCeuticals is much better.
It has oxybenzone in it, which is pretty toxic. I'm finally starting to understand how horrible that stuff is so I stopped using this sunscreen. Otherwise it's pretty light-weight and seems to be doing it's job.
