who it's for
Ideal for those with imperfection and blemish prone skin with premature aging concerns.
key ingredients
* 0.5% LHA provides micro-exfoliation to help unblock and tighten enlarged pores while refining the skin's texture.
* 7.5% AHA-Glycolic Complex accelerates the skin's natural renewal process. Helps smooth fine lines, even tone and boost skin radiance.
how to use it
Apply in the morning in combination with a sunscreen product (at least SPF 15) and/or in evening alone or in combination with skin care. Avoid eye area.
I have never bothered to rate any product before because I've never gotten the results I've hoped for but after another disappointing and expensive photo dynamic therapy treatment I decided to give this product a try.
I have very sensitive acne prone rough skin that is prone to dryness on the surface and is actively oily underneath. Its been a very hard and frustrating combination to treat. Although this serum says its not recommended for sensitive skin, I assume that means if you are sensitive to glycolic acid because that is one of the active ingredients. The other is LHA? (some sort of salicylic acid derivative I think) . But as I stated before I have very sensitive skin and I have experienced no dryness, redness or peeling. It is in fact restoring balance to my skin without any harsh side effects. I have used many products with glycolic acid and salicylic acid before but none nearly as effective as this one. Don't let past disappointments with these ingredients discourage you from trying this product.
Now the results. I am two weeks in and have seen marked improvement in texture, acne production and suppleness. My problems haven't all gone away but my skin was a TOTAL mess after my last PDT. I'm hoping that with more time that things will improve even more. The downside is expense and I seem to burn through it pretty fast even though I only use it once a day, but those of you who struggle with chronic skin problems know that expense is a secondary concern as long as the product works. What people who don't have skin problems dont understand is that your quality of life really is affected by your skin and at least for me, the improvement I've seen so far is well worth the cost. This stuff really seems to work for me and I pray they never take this off the market. From now on, I'm going to check LaRoche Posay products for any kind of skin problem. Every product they release seems to get super high ratings and now I see why.
Tried almost everything. This stuff actually seems to work5

kentmaple, Thanks for sharing and I couldn't agree more! This is the best serum I have ever tried and I have tried serums and skins care by Estee, Clinique, Philosophy, Murad, Proactive, etc. It is so nice to have something that finally works like it says it does!! Since I have been using this my skin keeps looking clearer and softer every day. Love this stuff!!!
