This beats any acne products or visits to the dermatologists. My friends have commented on how my face cleared up and I do not need to wear foundation to cover my face. It does dry my skin out so I have to heavily moisturize but that beats having acne!

After years of moderate acne I tool Accutane to get rid of it. In follow up my dermatologist recommended this- and it works great for me. As long as I use it I NEVER get any acne. It is drying, but does not seem to increase wrinkles (I am almost 40). I have used it for years and as soon as I stop, the acne returns... but if I start up again, its gone in days. Excellent product.

my daughter has break outs on her face and back. she has been using the glycare clensing gel md forte. it has cleared up her breakouts on her back and face. i use it also. it is a little expensive, but it goes a long way. i also use it on my 7 year old. she has breakouts on her upper arm. mild enough to use on her skin. great product we got from our derm dr. thy should promote it in peds dr's.

The Cleansing Gel really gets rid of the oily skin, leaving your face feeling tight (which I like). However, it caused my face to over produce oil leaving my face really oily hours later. I can't remember ever having that much oil on my face and actually seeing it on my fingers when I touched my forehead. I just got the shipment yesterday and I wish I could return it.

This product is the best there is out there. I've had oily, spot prone skin for ages and this is the only product that helps keep me clear. The key is, get your skin used to glycolic acid, then put on dry skin, before adding water and washing. I switch between Glycare Perfection Gel (salycilic acid) and benzol peroxide after washing to keep my skin clear.

This cleanser wasn't too bad to cleanse oily and acne skin. It does sting a little but leaves your skin pretty soft and smooth. It doesn't really control the oil, though.

It will keep your skin squeeky clean but DONT get it close to your eyes it will leave blistering burns and you must use SPF with this cleanser as it is very strong. If your dermatologist did not tell you that you have very oily skin do not buy this product. You most likely have combo skin and this product is too strong for combo skin. It isn meant to be used on combo or partly normal skin. Try the Cleanser I its plenty strong without the sensitivity caused by using the gel cleanser for extremely greasy skin. Also if your skin is oily mainly in the summer time do not use this product all year round. Its great but really meant for severly oily skin only.

This is the most amazing cleanser I've tried for oily skin. I've tried all kinds of expensive and drugstore brands and this was the only product that controlled the oil even with foundation on.
