Cosmelan 2 Maintenance Cream is an effective depigmentation treatment that lightens unwanted skin pigmentation, such as age spots, sun spots, and melasma.

For the first month: After cleansing, apply to skin twice a day (morning and evening). Wait 15 min. Then apply the Mesoestetic Hydra-vital Factor K cream on top of the Cosmelan 2. Finish with a moisturizing sunscreen. For treatment after the first month: Reduce application to once a day. Remember to follow with the Hydra-vital Factor K cream 15 minutes after application. It's unfortunate that people don't seem to understand this product at all because it's intended use is after a professional peel treatment which renders most of the results. This is your home care after your professional treatment. The only reason pigment can get darker is if it is in fact working because the pigment is deep in the skin and it has to work its way up and out and then exfoliate away at the skin's surface. So, that being said you should get the actual treatment and then use the FULL "maintenance" system and not just this cream. The reason the old system worked better was that they used an unsafe ingredient and changed it to a much safer formulation. Hydroquinone is a carcinogen and can cause more skin issues then you started with and it has been banded in many countries but not in the United States. One more comment I would like to make is that if you aren't staying out of the sun and wearing sunscreen then all of your pigment will always come back. Once you've had pigmentation you will always have it. You are only fading it. Even lasers will remove it and then it will always come back. It's just a matter of time and the sad truth of the matter. Too bad... great product. It's also funny that people don't understand the star rating system. 5 stars means "great" and 1 means "terrible".

dont be fool it cost me $2000 for the whole treatment my pigmentation become double and darked its upsetting i tried c1,c2 and the rest of cleansing hydration moisturaizer.waste of money i worked hard for.i went to a clinic promised a lot of good things but all con artist wants my money.

i thought I was going crazy when I opened the jar and it looked diffrent now I realized I am not the only one who noticed they changed the formula. The new formula work but it takes longer. The old one took a month to remove my acne scares but this one takes a year. Yes One YEAR!!!!. I am out and I am going to buy it again. I will let yoou all know how it goes this tim.

It doesnt really matter wich one they are both worthless, expensive and not effective, I bought it did the whole tratment for sun damage and is like I apply my everyday cream , no reults not even 10 % fade out, very sad and upstet, after having high expectacions on this product,they work the first 2 weeks is like magic everything desappears ,and after they come back just as they were same as before, and trated like its says for 6 months even that the sun damage had return but nithing never change, so ther you go!!

The new Cosmelan solution uses Kojic Acid as it's active ingredient of decreasing melanin in the skin. The previous solution used hydroquinone, which yielded better results. Don't be like me and waste money on the Kojic Acid solution. Most companies no longer use Cosmelan. The reason why is very simple - it no longer works.

La mayoria de nosotras las latinas tenemos el problema de pigmentacion. y yo era una de ellas que por muchos anos habia usado esta crema Cosmelan cuando era de color amarillo y me fue muy bien. desde el ano pasado han modificado la crema y con todo el respeto es tremenda porqueria. no la volvi a usar.

This cream works great. Best to start with the Cosmelan KIT which has the mask included. Then follow up with the Maintance Cream twice daily for the first month, and once a day afterwards. I'm happy with the results, but best to stay out of sunlight. I also use their sunblock

This new formula of Cosmelan 2, which now lists the name "Cosmelan 2 Crema/Cream" on the jar, is ineffective. Results are very disappointed with this new formula. Mesoesthetics is claiming that it should work the same as the old formula, but it doesn't. I do not recommend the Cosmelan treatment any longer.

para las que viven en españa lo encuetran en madrid en un lugar llamado incastro, y para mi es la mejor crema, yo tengo la capa de la epidermis muy delgada a causa del roacutan,yo no puedo ir a limpiezas porque donde me presionan con el instrumento para sacar barros se me abre la piel, y mi acne no suele ser de muchos barritos sino mas bien postulas de vez en cuando me salen asi que cuando me aplico una crema para que aparesca el punto blanco que para este tipo de acne deberian de hacer mas cremas que abran el poro para sacar todo y no cerrarlo,bueno al presionar me queda marca y lo que hago es que inmediatamente me aplico dermamelan o cosmelan solo me la aplico por las noches con un ligero masaje y en verdad que no tengo ninguna marca en mi piel, es la mejor crema yo que vivo en mexico la mando a pedir a españa. para cualquier crema hay que tener pasciencia que nada es rapido ni siquiera los tratamientos de los dermatologos.(((( If somebody know where i can buy cosmelan in USA pls tell me, I will apreciatte it.)))))))

Remember one thing (sometimes what dose't work for others works for you. and what works for others dose'n works for you. people have different skin types and conditions. i know cosmelan very well and i know they changed their formula 3 times the new c2 is better then all the other old c2S because i used them all. IF YOU WANT THE OLD C1 AND C2 GET DERMALEN X AMELAN BY COSMELAN if cosmelan is not for you try (pca) or (dermaquest skin therapy vitalight) this is also for pigmantation or skin discoloration

I have been told that the formula has been changed from 14% Hydro canon to 4%. The health Dept. just recently changed it and that is why it is not effective as it used to be. Some places stopped doing the treatment because they feel it is waste of money to their customers.

I tried c1 and c2 two years ago! Believe me the old formulations worked great and fast. Two years later I wanted to do it again c1 and c2 I did!! I could tell the formulation looked different and it did nothing for me.I have olive complexion, I left c1 on for ten hours and NO RESULTS. Why was the formulation changed? And where can I get the old formulation? Don't spend your money, the new formulation sucks!!!

I have sun damage, melasma and slight acne scars on my face. I have tried everything on the market until I found a company that uses Cosmelan. I didn't see much improvment in the first 4 weeks. Just had my second Cosmelan 1 mask and its still not getting any better. Thanks for taking my money. I feel horrible.

Hi, about 4 years ago, I discovered this product Amelan. That is what I used to clear up my melasma. It worked in 8 days after years of distress and product use of every kind. I still use it. I think the original formula has changed also, (not as strong) and it works, but not as well. I am guessing that both products had to make a change for some reason, not good for us, but it must have been a mandatory change.

I used this product a few years ago and it worked incredibly. After a decade of melasma, I finally had clear skin. Then, recently they changed the formula and it is completely and totally INEFFECTIVE. It is unbelievable that they would change the formula without informing customers, especially when it is priced so ridiculously high. I used the entire jar and there was NO CHANGE. What a rip off.

Hace dos semanas empezé a usar el cosmelan 2, claro esta que yo utilizé hace dos años el Amelan y Cosmelan productos excelentes, pero el que estoy utilizando en estos momentos es una porqueria, ni siquiera descama la piel como lo hacian los anteriores productos que yo utilizaba, en solo una semana yo tenia la piel totalmente despigmentada parecia una porcelana. Nos estan robando nuestro dinero con el actual producto.

LO UNICO QUE TE QUITA ESTA CREMA NO SOLO ES LA MELASMA SINO TIEMPO,BELLEZA Y DINERO TIEMPO: por que es ponertala 3 veses los primeras 4 semanas y lavarte la cara cada vez que la vallas a aplicar un procedimiento super lento. BELLEZA: por que al aplicarla tu maquillaje coge una textura muy gruesa, tu rostro no luce igual,con la crema aplicada y tu maquillaje te ves mas vieja y mal maquillada, ala primer semana de usar esta crema notas unas pequenas arrigitas ademas reseca tu piel y no puedes usar otros productos como tu crema de dia,tu crema de noche,tu crema para ojos ni el bloqueador solar, los vendedores te dicen que despues de 15min lo puedes hacer pero no sabes que reaccion tenga cosmelan2 al mezclarlo con otros producctos. DINERO: por son 165dollares lo que cuesta esta crema mas de lo que te costaria una crema de CHANEL, LANCOME, DIOR, o otras cremas que estan el el mercado no son para quitar la melasma pero te ayudan a tener una piel radiante y bella..... I was really excited when my doctor introduce me to cosmolan. Having had very dark spots on my forehead. I had c1 and follow up. I am on my second jar of cosmolan, but I am not satisfied with the results, my spots are still visible. this product is quite expensive, my second jar looks a bit different from the first jar. I used this product for 2 years with great results. But recently the formula has changed and the results are no longer there. My melasma is coming back despite using this expensive cream. I don't recommend Cosmelan 2 anymore and hope other people won't waste their money looking for the results that the old formula used to offer. If they changed it back, I'd be the first to buy more but as it is I won't waste my hard-earned money.

I don't know why they changed the formula. The old one worked absolutely great, and I hadn't felt that good about my skin since I was a teenager. I tried this new formula, and it did absolutely NOTHING for my brown skin. Please do not waste your money on this product. If you can, try to find the old formula someway, somehow.

It does not work. I did C1 mask and the new C2. The new C2 does not maintain what little results you get from the C1 mask. It stays on top of skin. The old C2 worked great. I can not see how this will work for darker pigment. Mine was very light and it did nothing.

I used Cosmelan to lighted sun spots/damage on my face and was initially thrilled with the results. Unfortunately, as soon as I stopped using it, the spots darkened and returned. I have spoken with several others who have had the same result--it is not worth the money unless you apply it every day....forever.
