about the product

This extra-strength foaming cleanser is formulated with glycolic acid(an AHA) along the antioxidant PHA lactobionic acid to cleanse and prepare the skin. Repeated use will leave the skin smoothly textured and may reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Daily use of sunscreen or sun avoidance is recommended with use of this AHA product and for one week after to minimize the risk of sun sensitivity/sunburn.

how to use it
Pump a moderate amount of foam into hands. Apply to wet skin and cover entire area. Rinse with water. Use twice daily or as directed by a physician.

Too harsh for me

I used this for a few weeks and it cleared up most of my blemishes, but it made my skin red and itchy. I did not get a rash, but my skin felt itchy for about an hour or so after using. Then, I started to get dry patches. My skin would peel and flake off. So had to stop using it. DDF products have been much kinder to my skin, and I've gotten better results.

I was introduced to the NeoStrata by my dermatologist. I have used the product for years and it really works for me. I have oily skin and it really makes my skin feel clean and keeps my break outs down. Also a plus it smells like vodka and orange juice :D

I use this as my face wash morning and night. I have oily skin and it really helps. I use a Neotrogena sensitive skin moisturizer afterwards. My dermatologist had me use it for acne that was under the skin.

Thanks so much for your info..just one last question, do you find the combination of the glycolic cleanser and the neutrogena moisturiser effective in controlling oil? I have dripping oily skin but with occasional breakouts atm..

I have just started using the product. I has dried out my skin and it looks a bit red and lumpy. Going to continue for a few weeks as I guess this is part of the peel. Hopefully skin will settle and reveal newer skin.

I keep hearing this stuff works for everyone, but for me my face broke out! It was red and looked like I had tiny pmples all along my jawline. I think it's too strong for me.

Previously, I had never thought much of high end cleansers. This product truly delivers results. Besides smoothing my skin, it deep cleans my pores. Even after washing and exfoliating with other products, I still had greasy white crud in the pores of my nose. Since I started using this and Replenix CF Purifying Antioxidant Foaming Cleanser, I no longer have that problem. It disappeared almost overnight.

I have been SO happy with the Neostrata brand, since recommended by my dermotologist. I tried this product but found that I like the NeoStrata Facial Cleanser better.

Was having very occasional acne problems and found this NeoStrata facewash online. it works REALLY WELL - no more zits!!! Also if you have combo/oily skin.. say goodbye.. takes away the extra oil without overdrying. I LOVE THIS STUFF
