With no doubt it works really well for oily skin, but even then your skin gets flaky. You just need to exfoliate 3 times a week. I have used this product for 2 years and I am really happy with it.

I bought this product after it being recommend from a friend. I have used Retin A for a couple of years and used Accutane 4 years ago with great success. I stopped using the Retin A as I started to experience my skin getting lighter from the product and it began not to work as effectively as it did in the past. My initial breakout with Nucelle lasted 2 months. My skin was horrible. It was dry and my pimples seemed to magnify. After experiencing both Retin A and Accutane, I promised to stick with it for 3 months, as I know it takes a couple of months to sometimes she the effect of the product. I am glad that I continued to use it. My face began improving at the 3rd month. Every 3 weeks, i would see a difference. I ordered another bottle along with the 15%. I dilute the 15% with the 10% and use that a few times a week. The longer you use this product, the better your skin will get. I would definitely give this product a try. I also order their toner as well.

I have been using this product for over 10 years and am now 43, NOT ONE person ever thinks I'm 43. I too started to use the product because of break outs and it was recommended by my Dr. I will clear your skin up if you use it long enough this isn't McDonalds, it takes time to undo years of damage done by soap and lesser products. Give it time before you write a bad review, use it as much as you can a little goes a long way. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Complements on my skin for over 10 years... You Can't pay for that!

Well I got this product over a month ago hoping it would even out my skin tone and calm down the acne breakouts I get every now and then. I started using this product twice a day and I still haven't seen any changes!! I started breaking out a little but wasn't sure if it was cause of this product or just my crazy skin acting up again. The product smells good and feels good on my skin. I still continue to use it every night along with some acne medication and my skin never gets flaky or red (which is a good thing!). I will continue using this product but really haven't seen any change yet :(

I'm a 40 year old female who has battled acne since I was a teenager. Over the years it has gotten better, but I never had clear skin, not even for one day. I've tried everything from prescription drugs to ProActive, but they didn’t do anything but cost a fortune. NuCelle Mandelic 10% worked wonders! I've seen and heard so many great reviews about this product that I decided to try it for my moderate yet persistent acne and uneven skin tone. Its been about two months now and Im still in the "initial breakout". My skin has never looked worse and Ive seen no improvement in the 2 months I've been using it, jus flakiness and painful cystic pimples :(

I have normal/combination skin with melasma and have used this product religiously for 6 months now - I live in the UK and get this along with some of the other NuCelle products shipped in but this would be my recommended 'must have' if you are short on cash or only want to try one item from the line. It makes my pores appear smaller, reduces break outs (I only got them around that time of the month but NONE at all any more), improves the overall texture of my skin & MAYBE has had a positive impact on fine lines & melasma. Do take care if you have not used this type of product before though because it can make your skin tingle and physically flake for a few days, and as the top skin is effectively dead you will notice a couple of timy pustules at first - these do disappear and it is so worth persevering. This really is a fab serum and layers well under sunscreen or moisturizers from other brands as long as you let it dry well/sink in before applying anything else. Not sure it would suit someone with very dry skin but for normal or oilier skin it is a must.

I have very oily/acne prone skin and have tried many prescribed medications from my dermatologist over the last decade or so. I would have to say this mandelic serum is by far better than 98% of the prescribed creams I've used over the years. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of mandelic acid before, but all of the reviews were very positive so I decided to give it a try. It does kind of dry your skin out and you might develop a couple of new pimples when you first use it, but keep on using it and the pimples will disappear rather quickly. Also you just need to apply a thin layer for it to work. It has been 2 months now and my skin is so much softer, less oily, and smoother than it has ever been in my life!!! I can't believe the incredible results I've gotten in just 2 months time. For anyone who is skeptical about this product, please give it a try, you won't be sorry. I will continue to use this serum for the rest of my life, I love it so much and SkinCareRx was great with the shipping!!

I am a 41 year old woman that has dealt with CYSTIC acne since the birth of my first child. Before buying this product I read every single review, and one stood out, where the buyer claim it was a waste of money, I still took the chance and purchase this product, best decision I made; it's only one week and I wasn't going to write a review until after a month of using the product, but it is a amazing how this thing work, it work better than my prescribe acne medication which I still use at night after I apply this product, the result doubled. The first time I use the product I realize some dryness and peeling, and I experiment by using the Cetaphil gentle moisture wash the doctor had recommended for me when he prescribe my acne medication, dryness and peeling didn't show anymore after I applied this moisture, I also use the face lotion treatment lotion SFP15 I had from Neutragena, I use these because I already had them in my bathroom, and was trying not to spend too much money since I was only testing the product. But I have experience the texture in skin, much different, a smooth texture and my acne scars have faded a great deal, my complexion gets a little lighter, I had a few little break out, but I know the product is only bringing stuff to the surface of my skin just like my medication did, this product works better than my medication, those blemishes had cleared up; I think I will purchase the kit,I will use see what happen over the few weeks.I also don't have to use a lot of makeup to hide the scars because they are lighter, I only now use my sheer cover foundation press power lightly and the what scars are on my face now if totally covered.

Yes, it's a bit drying or very drying if you use a lot. But aren't all acne skincare product drying? Use a moisturizer on top. It's a great product if used correctly. Doesn't hurt / sting as much as MaMa Lotion.

A bit long, but please read! I have been using the NuCelle products for about 11 months AM and PM (cleanser, toner 10% Serum in the AM and 15% Serum in the PM, Shine-control Moisturizer and PCA Skin (Phaze 7) Protecting Hydrator SPF 25 (AM) and the Antioxidant Night Lotion in the PM)… I tried using the NuCelle Mandelic Moisturizer SPF17, but it was too oily. In the beginning, after reading the great reviews about the MaMa Lotion, and I also wanted to try it, so I substituted the MaMa lotion for the NuCelle Serum but it was a bit too much as I was a bad experience. The MaMa lotion caused bad breakouts which included small cystic-type bumps and my skin was more oily than normal. Reading the reviews for MaMa it said that things may get worse before they get better so I continued to use it for another 2.5 weeks with no improvement. I switched back to the Nucelle Serum (10% in the AM and 15% in the PM), and my face cleared up in about two days and was back to being non-oily. I will continue with my NuCelle product line (and using the Phaze 7 as my sunscreen). Hopefully others will have good success with NuCelle. It does work!

This product is SO overrated it is disturbing. I find these other reviews extremely peculiar. This stuff dries the skin so how people can claim that it makes their skin "glow" is unfathomable. Perhaps it cleared my skin slightly but I find glycolic acid much better. I am extremely disappointed with this product after the rave (perhaps insane) reviews and the absolute lack of results. This all makes no sense. What a waste of money.

I've been using this product for about a year and a half and it still delivers great results. I use it every morning and incorporate the 15% mandelic serum into the routine about once a week. It is just the right combination for me as the 15% was a bit too harsh to use more often than twice a week. Anyway, these two products have worked wonders at clearing up minor acne scars and brightening my skin overall! I have oily skin and this product keeps the oil production under control. I am so pleased to have finally found a product that has not irritated my skin while producing beautiful results. I have received more compliments on my skin now more than ever and I'm 43 years old!!! I will never stop buying the stuff....I absolutely love it!!!!

I have been using Nucelle for about 3 weeks now and my scars and redness on my cheeks from adult acne are almost gone. I have had fractional CO2 laser therapy and microdermabrasion to rid myself of these scars but they only helped a little. My face did break out a bit at first but the blemishes quickly went away. The serum is also controlling the oil on my face. I am just ecstatic about this line.

I could say that I have never tried a product like NuCelle, that claims to treat oily skin, and actually delivers what it has promised to do. The first time I used it, I was so surprised of the fact that my skin did not look oily after 20 minutes, not even 3 hours. I have never seen my face look so normal after 3 hours of applying make-up. In the past, I had to used compact power to avoid looking oily. I haven't had the same results with other products, not a chance. Yes, I have also seen my skin face get flaky, but you can exfoliate 3 times a week to avoid this. I have also seen more impurities on the surface, but when I got a facial this last Mon., my facial lady was surprised on how easy it was to extract the impurities from my face. I have to review this product after 2 weeks of use, and I could certainly talk wonders about it after the first day I tried it. The NuCelle skincare line has delivered for me. I don't have any rinkles, but I have a memory line on my forehead so I hope that in 6 months I could tell you that it is gone. As to the rinkles, it is good to treat them before they even start to appear. I totally recommend this product.

First of all, I don't understand why SOME people have bothered to RATE this product and review so early while awaiting and wondering about what kind of results they are going to get from this product??? Rating after 3 days?? Come on.... Also, why rate it if you are going to ask questions wanting to know if this going to work??? During a review???? At least, wait to try this product a lot longer and then rate it. Geesh. This is just not fair to other people who have not tried this product and it is obviously biased. Also, to you people who have rated tis product too early, read this..."PLEASE NOTE: Use of this product will bring impurities to the surface. Some people will experience a slight increase of breakouts or the appearance of a few large cysts in the FIRST MONTH of use. Do not discontinue use if this happens. Skin will clear up with continued use." Gee. At least review this product after the FIRST MONTH of use. Here is the actual part of my review that counts towards the 5 stars. For the most part this product does what it claims. I purchased this product because of my acne and red marks. The red scars reduced about 20% but it did not happen instantly. It does even out skin tone. My skin is smoother. My pores get smaller when I apply it. I don't have wrinkles and didn't have any to begin with...so I really cannot say anything about this product working for wrinkles. This product DID give me an initial breakout after 3 weeks.

I have acne problems and I first heard about Mandelic Acid from a friend. I tried MaMa Lotion which did horrors on my skin. I then decided to try the Nucelle since its more for sensitive skin. I was amazed. I would spot treat at first with it and it took my acne away practically over night. I decided to finally apply it over my entire face. It feels amazing. Ive used a ton of products and many of them such as Retinols are very very heavy and sticky throughout the day. This is a light serum and skinks in after a couple minutes. Im not going to lie, there is some purging the first week or two you use it. I almost quit, but I decided to stick with it because I like how it doesnt make my face feel heavy ir greasy during the day. Im glad I did. I have maybe one or two breakouts right now....I have NEVER seen my face this clear. I would without a doubt recommend this product to anyone. The downfall is you will get some dry and tightness, but if you look thats with almost any exfoliant or product you use. Moisturizer takes care of that. Secondly I love SkinCarerx. They have amazing customer service, the lady I talked to is who actually convinced me to buy this, she talked to me like a friend, not a customer. Gets to my house in about 2 days, 3 days at the most.

I used the MAMA lotion in the past and was left with very dry, red, flaky skin. I felt my skin aged overnight! I switched to Nucelle 10% lotion after reading some reviews and the difference in my skin is amazing! My pores have shrunk, by acne scars are dried up and healing more each day, and my skin looks normal, not tight and red. I have sensitive skin, but an oily t-zone so it was hard finding just the right product. Now my skin looks 5 years younger and feels soft and smooth. Try this stuff -- you won't be disappointed. p.s. Give it some time - I had a few breakouts for the first 2 weeks, then everything settled down and now my face glows!!

This stuff is WAR on ACNE large pores and GREASE. This is HOW I use Nucelle. I wanted to wait a while before submitting my review to make sure I knew what I was talking about. I have very sensitive acne prone - combination, medium tone african american skin, whew! Anything that touches my face can cause extreme irritation and a terrible breakout. At first I bought the starter kit but I had to try many different combos to get my skin care right. I even tried the Mama Lotion which is similar but not exactly what I needed for use everyday. FINALLY I realized that I had to change my cleanser and technique! I started using the generic dove sensitive skin bodywash on my face and it was amazing so I decided to give this serum a second try for the acne and oil since I had already paid for it. WOW what a difference. a few things I've learned about ACNE are #1 If you have acne you MUST get rid of the excess oil no matter how drying the effect is use a moisturizer sparingly ONLY when you absolutely need it. #2 If you have nasty bumps and pimples on your face you MUST pop them, get the stuff out, and dry it up but you have to do it a certain way. NO fingernails!! Do a search on the net for the PROPER way to pop a pimple. Using this method I NEVER have to go a day with a visible pimple. Who wants to leave that crap on their face until it clears "on it's own". I know that's against derm. advice but it's not their face lol #3 Practice using different amounts of the product sometimes you use too much or not enough. This is my routine - morning and night - and if needed sometimes during the day. Wash face with the bodywash use very a small amount to get a good lather (repeat 1 or 2 times depending on how oily the skin is)use a wash cloth when you feel you have to exfoliate - let it dry a bit - dot on the Nucelle 10% serum (chin - cheeks - 2 on each side of forehead - under chin - entire neck area- Massage in until completely dry - I even use a bit carefully under my eye area -love it! Once it dries wait a few minutes to see if any flaking or very dry areas appear - if they do then use a moisturizer for sensitive skin (I use either oil of olay sensitive skin or the NUCELLE night lotion EVEN during the day because I really can't use anything with sunscreen b/c it breaks me out. If you don't see any drying that day then you are free to walk out the door! The result: ACNE free! for the first time in 10 years - Smooth EVEN toned skin! I wish I had before and after photos. I finally got it right and I hope this helps somone out there.

It took away a lot of the redness from my skin. It soothes my skin and calms it. I thought it would sting like Mama Lotion. But it didn't at all - just a little tightness. It's like a mini face lift. And my acne scarring is less noticeable. I woke up to a nice calm face with my normal rosey cheeks - instead of a red all-over-clown-face. If you have really sensitive skin - you basically can't use much of anything unless you can handle the pain. Perhaps go a little bit at a time - apply a smaller dosage? You have to let your skin get use to it. *Beautiful skin 4 all.:-)

I have been using the NuCelle regimen for about a year, have even tried much more expensive products, still stick with NuCelle. I am 44, light-skinned, somewhat sensitive. I have never been able to convert to the 15% Mandelic Serum, but use occasionally, use 10% serum religiously, cleanser, night cream, other products. Love it!

I ordered this serum recently after reading so many positive reviews about it. I am a light skinned Hispanic female, 21 yrs old. I have moderate acne that tends to flare up when I am close to or on my cycle. I used this product for close to 2 wks. I know for many that may seem like too short of a trial period but I at least expected to see SOME improvement in something....NOTHING. By the end of the first week my skin got a little dry but I didn't experience any redness, tingling or peeling with this product. I can't say that it made my skin worse but it definitely didn't do anything for it either... What works for some, doesn't work for others.

I purchased this serum because I have an oily skin with large pores. After using it for 2 weeks only once a day in the morning my skin continue peeling and my skin around my mouth, chin and checks turn red and very irritable all day long. I don't know if I should stop using it but my pores seem somewhat smaller, which I like the most of all of this product. It may be too strong for a combination skin.

I have Rosacea and this is the first product that has made a visible difference, my skin is no longer bright red and i wear less foundation. I bought the whold kit but only am now using the 10% serum. when i first started using the whole line my face got very irriated. I went back to my old products ( i LOVE eucerin Redness Relief cleansing gel, only cleanser that doens't irriate my skin, i can only find that at walgreens stores in my area) I found just using the Nucelle serum morning and night and my other products works best for me. My skin did flake a little in the beginning and still does if i don't keep up with it 2x a day. I love now smooth my skin is now. I would recomment anyone with rosacea to give this a try don't spend the $ onthe whole kit though. I would just try the serum.

This product worked wonders on my acneprone skin. I have spent at least a couple of hundred dollars on various treatments for my skin including RetinA and at home skin peels. Nothing has worked as well as this product. I am a person of color and this product did not cause irritation in my skin or darkening like benzoyl peroxide. The active pimples on my face cleared up in a week when I first started using the product. I would recommend this product to anyone with acne prone skin.

I have been using this product every night for a year. It really helps control mild breakouts. I have found that if I apply it at night let it dry then apply a mild moisturizer over the top it makes my skin less dry yet continues to fight breakouts.

I found out that I have to apply it no more than once per 24 hours. If I start applying it twice24 hours after a week or so my skin gets tight and starts to peel and flake. The ight skin is just dead epidermis that flakes off in a week if you stop applying the serum. The flaking and peeling does NOT stop if you continue applying it. So in my case I achieve clearer looking skin when I apply not more than once per day in the morning and wash in the evening.

I tried 3 weeks and loved it but it makes my skin dry eventually. I think it is good for oily skin not for dry skin over 40

I forgot to mention that this serum has a very nise base that gives matte look and partially masks skin irregularities like red marks or texture irregularities. It seems to me that some people are confusing these makeup effects with real improvement of their red marks. It is possible that the serum has positive effect on inflamatory type facial redness. From my experience 3 months it doesn have any effect on redness due to surface capillaries or on enlarged pores.

Ive been using it for 3 months. I don have active acne but get pimples if I east greasy foods. I get them less frequently since Ive started using this even during the hot and humid summer. Im not sure if it can control a full fledged acne though. My skin doesn get red from it but if I apply it morning and evening before bed my skin starts to flake and peel and it doesnt seem to adjust. I have red marks that I think are surface capillaries. The serum did not help with that all. They are still there and are not diminishing.

Ive been using this serum for about a month now. I did mainly order it to get rid of my uneven pigmentation but I haven seen any improvement in that regard yet. But my pores and blackheads have diminished on my cheeks forehead and especially on my chin some of the bigger pores have even disappeared. That was a pleasant surprise. I never thought theyd diminish or disappear. Ive had them for so long that to me they were a part of my appearance. My skin texture appears more confluent but I still have a long way to go to get the result that I want. My skin feels somewhat softer. I was at my dermatologist yesterday. I hadn told her anything about my using AHA stuff. But she asked me if I had been using anything on my skin because it looked less oily and clogged. That really made my day. I had been hoping shed notice the improvement or someone except me would notice it and she did. Since shes the only person who knows my skin as much as I do it felt great that she noticed how my skin had calmed down. I suggest that people who have started to use the 10 serum be patient. The first week I started to use it my skin got very irritated and flaky. I was seriously considering laying it off. I got pimples on my face where I hadn got any before. But they disappeared after about 2 days. It really brings the impurities to the surface but patience is a virtue and Im sure youll see improvements within weeks.

Im so amazed with the results of this product. I was dealing with monthly outbreaks which didn begin until about my late 30s. Im 41 Now Ill never give up this product. I tried just about everything with the exception of accutane. I can get over the results I now have bright radiant skin. Ive been using Nucelle Mandelic Serun 10 for one month and haven had one breakout. My skin is PERFECTLY clear and smooth All of the discoloration I had has cleared up. I tried this product after hearing my Dermatologist talking about it. I have a youthful glow and people even guess my age as in my 30s Gotta love that since I am 45. It also has helped with my mild case of roseacea. I recommend this for anyone. Now if I can only get my daughter to try it.

I have used the serum for the past year and it is the one beauty product I cannot live without. The first two months of using this product I had more breakouts than usual but now all my whiteheads are gone and I have fewer blackheads. I still get a few pimples every few months but they are small and the reddness disappears within a week. This is great for anyone who is an adult with acneit will not dry out or irritate your skin. Its economical too I have used it twice a day for a year and I just ordered my third bottle.

Got this w/ my kit. I could probably use the 15% now. i have VERY oily, sensitive skin & rosacea on my cheeks. I have acne prone skin & have had cystic acne (been on accutane). didn't have health ins so tried this instead. at first i did get the red splotchy patches & my face didn't look so great. wanted to quit using it cuz of that reason but knew it would go away & my skin was just adjusting. after a few days it went away. the next week i definitely could tell a difference. i think it did calm my skin down quite a bit. will continue to use these products.

I have had rosacea for over 4 years now. My smptoms include redness, papules and large pores. I have used the nucelle line (particularly this serum) and have seen great results. I even try new products on one side of my face and test it against the nucelle line. After 4 years and lots of money...no product works like this!

This works great with acne and acne scars. After reading so many positive reviews in forums about this product, I had to try it. It took a few months to finally rid of pimples that would normally appear. And if there are new pimples, scars go away so much faster. I am over 50 and suffer from rosacea, large pores, and sun damage. I have tried so many anti-aging products, and most irritate my rosacea/sensitive skin. And none give me the anti-aging results I wanted. This product is AMAZING! I have been using it for a month now, and my skin has never looked this good - since I was in my 30's perhaps, or younger! I have fewer rosacea breakouts and my complexion has smoothed out. Even my pores seem smaller. I have peeled a lot, which tells me I needed something like this! And my skin is still somewhat dry and flaky - however, the dryness and flakiness are finally starting to subside. If you push through the initial drying and flaking period, you will be rewarded with beautiful skin!

I've had horrible acne for 15 years. I had taken every drug to clear up my face. My dermatologist had prescribed accutane. It helped, but then I still would have baby pimples especially during that time of month. Now I have much better skin and it always prevents and fights existing acne. This is a great product. Use this if you have normal or sensitive skin. If you have really oily skin, very rare people do, then I'd use the 15% especially in very humid climates. Otherwise the 10% is good all year round.

i recieved this product as a free sample & i loved it so much i had to order the kit. the sample lasted me a week & i noticed a huge difference in my skins look & feel. i recommend that anyone with acne or oily skin to try this system out. it can save you $$$. its cheaper than dermatologist visits/meds.
