The 3-step system includes: Obagi Daily Care Cream Cleanser (6.5 fl. oz.), which deep cleans to remove excess dirt and oil. Obagi Therapeutic Lotion (1.6 fl. oz.), which sweeps away acne and forbids future breakouts without drying your skin. Obagi Therapeutic Moisturizer (1.7 fl. oz.), which richly moisturizes and hydrates your skin while calming and soothing.

Benzoyl Peroxide 5% helps to eliminate current and future acne by destroying acne-causing bacteria. Glycerin boosts the skin's natural protection abilities maintaining adequate moisture and hydration.
how to use it
Daily Care Cream Cleanser: Wet face with warm water. Dispense a nickel-size amount of Daily Care Cream Cleanser into the palm of your hand. Gently massage cleanser over entire face. Rinse skin thoroughly and pat dry. Wait 10 minutes to allow skin to dry completely before applying Therapeutic Lotion.
Therapeutic Lotion: Use once a day or as directed by your physician. Pump product once onto fingertip and apply evenly to entire face, avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth. Allow Therapeutic Lotion to absorb completely before applying Therapeutic Moisturizer. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application per day. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen.
Therapeutic Moisturizer: Apply after the Therapeutic Lotion has dried completely. This step will prevent any irritation caused from the Benzoyl Peroxide.

I used this product for about 2 months and it did not change my skin at all. I was very disappointed especially since it was so expensive. I would have been better off using retin-a (which i now use and love). The cleanser is just like cetaphil and the moisturizer is basic. So you are basically spending over 100$ for benzoyl peroxide!
I have dry combination skin and breaks out in the t zone. My skin got better in the first 2 weeks and then it broke out more. I kept using it for 2 months and saw no improvement. I stop using this system altogether. I switched to just using the Normal to Oily serum- totally worked so much better!
i have read several of the comments on here and my situation is the exact same, i've been dealing with acne for almost 5 years and i was using proactiv and it was working wonders until this year it all of a sudden quit working for me. i went to the dermatologist and paid almost $300 for the clenziderm acne system and in the first 2 weeks it was amazing, my skin cleared right up but after that it stopped working and i have horrible break outs.. i'm thinking of going to a doctor. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I was visiting home and realized I forgot my face wash and moisturizer....tried my brother's clenziderm because he loves it and within the 2 weeks I've been here my face has totally cleared up! No drying or peeling at all though the one downside is that it STINGS really bad when you apply it and for about 5 minutes afterwards. If you've ever had a chemical peel it feels a lot like that. But it goes away after about 5 minutes and the results are soooo worth the bit of discomfort!

I have had breakouts constantly in the past. Tons of little ones and cysts - nothing ever worked. I tried Dermalogica but it burnt my face and I had blisters. This product line after 3 days made a difference in my skin. I get a few breakouts once a month but other than that, my skin is perfect! I am getting compliments all the time. I do have scars from acne before using this line, but they aren't as noticeable now. This product has changed my life. For those with really severe acne, I recommend the line for oily skin. It seems to be stronger.
I have been using this product for about a month now and I noticed a difference after about 2 weeks. I have still been having a few random breakouts, but for the most part my skin is clear, my pores are smaller and my blackheads have diminished!!!
This product works. I am 45 years old and have had worse breakouts than ever before. I have recently had to do salicylic peels to control the breakouts as nothing worked. They became very drying and had to go religiously every three weeks....not convenient, let alone expensive. The Clenziderm M.D. Acne for normal to dry has been excellent. I have used for 4 weeks and have not had one cystic breakout since. My skin looked 100% better in less than 48 hours....clearer, smoother, and less dry. Highly recommend.
i have been using this product for about two months and i spent all this money and i really dont see an improvement in my skin.I have tried so many products for my face from proactive to clearsil,and nothing seems to work!I am so tired of this i have tried everything and i even get getting facials every month and nothig seems to HELP!
I'm a little disappointed, because I expected for the cost that I would see results at least in 2 months. It's been 4 months and I still break out and my spots have barely began to go away, but since I still break out new spots constantly appear. This may work for some, but it's a waste of time and money for me.
I've struggled with adult acne since 1987 when I had a hysterectomy. After 3 (three!) days of using the Obagi, my skin felt totally different - smooth and the pimples began to go away. After 2 months - I'm still pimple free and several co-workers have mentioned how great my skin looks. Even asking what I'm using. It's truly a miracle for me.
there are always couple pimples on my face, so my demantologist recommonded this product to me. first two week, i felt pain and my turn into red, when i apply these to my face. after one month the situation became better, but my face still appear a little bit red. it has been 5 weeks, i still grow the pimple. this doesn't work to me.
