how to use it
Apply a few drops to your face, neck, and chest in the morning. If you are using the Obagi-C Rx line, you will want to replace it the C-Clarifying Serum to boost the Vitamin C benefits, but not until after lightening results have been achieved.
I ordered the 15% last week. After using it for a week, I realized it was slightly too strong for my skin. My skin is sensitive and reactive, so I've just placed an order for the 10% and will see how my skin does. I love C serums and hope the 10 will be better for my sensitive skin. Will post after receiving the item and using it for a week or two. :)
I have been using Obagi 10% C Serum for over a year and my skin looks beautiful ... smooth, glowing and fine lines have disappeared. I use it religiously, at night in place of my usual moisturizer, or under a light moisturizer during the dry winter months. I get a lot of compliments on how nice my skin looks. I would highly reccommend this product, but be sure to wear sunscreen as I've noticed my skin is more sensitive to the sun while using this product.
I have used Obagi Nu-Derm products for over two years and love what they have done for my skin. With that said, I'm really disappointed in the Professional-C 10% serum.
1. It smells like dry cleaning fluid.
2. L-Ascorbic acid is SECOND to the LAST ingredient.
3. It has a greasy feel when applied.
As of now, I haven't noticed a difference in my face (I've used other Vita-C Serums before that were "WOW" on my face) BUT that could be my fault - I may have needed the 15% instead of the 10% solution.
