This is a great product. I am a black woman who has dealt with acne scars my whole life of 33. I have had facials, mirodermabrassions, and skin peels through all of that PHAZE 13 pigment gel with HQ is the best treatment I could have every came across. Along with using the Phaze 13, I use Phaze 23 A & C Serum, and Phaze 6 Collagen Hydrator, the combination is the best for me. I wish I could show you before and after pictures. I have never believed those type of pictures, but I am a believer now. My skin has never been as clear and glowing as it is now, this is due to the PCA products.
I had a nasty sun spot on my cheek that bothered me for a while. I bought this product and was a little scared the first time. I applied around the area and it burned my skin to the point of pain. But this was my fault, so I started to use a cotton swab to target the sun spot and nothing else. After few applications the spot started to peel off and show the beautiful and clear skin underneath, I was "wow" with it. Then I stopped applying the product and about a week later the spot started to show again. It is a lot lighter than it used to be and I can leave with it. If you hope this will take the spots forever, don't keep your hopes up - it may not happen.
dark reddish brown shiny and caly
dark reddish brown shiny/scaly patches it leaves after the skin peels
scaly shiny darl
scaly, shiny, dark red patches left after the brown spots peel
question about shiny scaly red patches left behind...
i have been using this product long enough that some of the dead skin peeled off but i can still see some of the melasma there. When it peeled off most of what came off was from me rubbing the area in the morning until some of the peeling occured. I was left with shiny, glossy darker red patches where the skin had peeled off of. I have still been applying the serum to these shiny red areas that were left after the brown peeled off. I am wondering if that is what I should be doing (applying the phase 13 to the red scaly patches left behind from the peeling)? I feel like the skin is only getting darker red and almost like a scab in thise areas from continuing the serum. What do you all do after some of the mealsma peels off?? Do you still apply the hydroquinone serum to the red shiny areas left behind?? or do yo apply something to help heal the red irritation instead??
Hi There, Dont worry, this happens sometimes, and its usually if you force the peeling off. Let it fall off on its own.
Also, DO NOT add more serum on the red areas, those red areas will also scab and fall off after a few days, but adding more serum only irritates and can make your problem worse, actually causing hyperpigmentation.
Be patient with it.
I used this product exactly as directed trying to fade sunspots on my face, particularly on the sides of my face where they are the most noticeable. I applied this morning and night until I emptied the bottle and not one spot ever faded in the slightest. Very disappointment in this product's lack of performance and will instead try lasers the next go around.
I've bene using Neostrat products for 2 years and Neostrata the best skin care range available. The Bionic face cream is great at exfoliating and moisturising. Evens out skin tone and leaves your face glowing and looking younger. For the other reviewers...

I paid thousands of dollars for laser treatments where my sun spots cleared, but just came back again. This product has really lightened by spots and has been keeping them unnoticable. I hope the hydroquinone is safe though...but even if it it is a little dangerous, I would still use it because it has brought my confidence back to me when I face others. I put on a thin layer on my spots in the morning and evening everyday and use sunblock daily. I wish I was more careful with my sun exposure when I was younger.
This has burned my skin a few times! Be very careful with this product. I generally don't have any problem with products, as my skin isn't sensitive, but I don't think this one is worth it at all. It would just burn the area after a few days and then I would have to apply aloe to the area for a week. I gave it a couple chances and followed the directions, but there is something in this that causes that irritation and I don't think it is worth it. Murad has a better lightening product that I have switched to and it doesn't burn your skin.
having read a lot of the reviews i had a lot of hope- but did not have any of the peeling or red/pink skin that the other users had. literally felt slight stinging a few times but not much else. i am done with a bottle and this week thinking that it has helped a little bit, just starting to see results. so i am going to do one more bottle, i am not sure with the hydroquinone if you should do more anyway.
but i had absolutely no peeling, so not sure what those other users are talking about!!!
I have used this product a few times and it barely lightened my small spots I had on my cheeks from acne. It acts like a mini peel on your skin (and it smells like some pca peels I've used) but it was not enough to see a very big difference on myself. Make sure to do a test because after the first day of doing two applications as directed on a small patch of skin I woke up with a bright pink spot. It takes about a week to finish peeling like a regular peel. When first applied your skin might look like it has a nice glow to it and later it turns red. My skin flaked off but underneath there was barely a difference; just enough to cover my spots with concealer and it not be as noticeable. Maybe with more uses it could be better but for me it would take a very long time. :) The size of the bottle is about four inches tall and the cap takes up some of that. It is a pump and if you have some small spots like me (size of freckles) it may pump out a little too much.
I had a large t-shaped patch of melasma on my forehead from my last pregnancy three and half years ago. I have tried everything over the counter to lighten it, but there was a stubborn spot in a t-shaped pattern that just wouldn't fade. I tried Clinique Dark Spot Corrector and it did fade slightly, but I knew it would take another 2-3 bottles to totally get rid of it, and looked for something new online. This product is a lightweight serum; it does burn a little bit! After a week, my forehead looked pink, like a sunburn. It took about 10 days for it to start peeling, but it is still pink and raw so you do have to expect that. It did fade the brown, but it is a bit harsh on the skin but to me, it is worth it because nothing else had worked.
i am turning cooked shrimp...i put it on the dark spot under my right eye, its been two weeks or so, the spot has turn red and started peeling. hope it will pay off soon
This stuff is awesome! i have had peels done and this is even better. The dark spots around my chin and lips are almost gone and I have only used it for a week. The results are better than the peels and much cheaper. You will peel and look like a lobster for a bit but it's worth the results.Exteremely happy that I found this product.
I have been using this product for about a month. It has been effective at lightening my skin (I have discoloration on my face and neck). It works well on my face but is less effective on my neck/chest. It has lightened my neck and chest just not enough for what I want. I would still recommend it though because it does help. I have one concern though and hope someone might be able to help me. I am concerned with using a product for more than a month that has hydroquinone in it. I have read that there are health concerns with using products with hydroquinone long term. Has anyone else heard this?
Georgina, You are correct about the health concerns. However, you can use products containing hydroquinone 3-4 months safely. Also, believe it or not the skin on your face is different from the skin on your neck and declotte` and will take more time to see results in those areas. Hope this helps.

There's some speculation out there that hydroquinone has health risks. The concentrations used in the US have been approved by the FDA. The best way to see positive results with hydroquinone based products is to use them regularly for 3 months and at that point take a 1 month break. This break gives your skin a respite from the active ingredient and resets the results for your next 3 month cycle. If you still don't feel comfortable using hydroquinone based lighteners, PCA also makes a pigment gel that's hydroquinone free. This serum is called PCA (pHaze 13) Pigment Gel HQ Free
I have gone thru 3 bottles of pc and yes have experienced the irritation, pealing, skin darkening. Results have been about 10-15% lighter. I am still in search of a quicker method but have not founded. I have olready tried laser but got zero percent results.
I was really hoping I would be able to write an awesome review for this PCA pigment gel and have the same fast results as nearly everyone else has...And now I totally can!! I have been using this for ONE week along with M2 lotion and already my skin looks amazing. Really, I should say my skin looks 'normal' since I have severe cystic acne and mass amounts of inflammation and scarring because of it, but now instead of wanting to go out with a bag on my head I can wear touches of concealer and a light dusting of mineral powder. In one week! I am amazed. I will update my review once I have been using this a while longer.
Best I have ever used. I have bought several different kinds from the drugstore, all claiming great results. None touched the brown spot on my cheek, even after weeks of faithfully applying. PCA Skin Pigment Gel produced results in just a couple of days. Love this product.
I tried a lot of lightening serums and this one is by far the best one!First week was kinda bad because it did sting and was really uncomfortable on my skin.I decided to continue regardless.A month and a half later the results are amazing! Really worth the price NO DOUBT AT ALL! Try out the lightening bar and hydrators by PCA!They are also 5 star products!
Do not use this product while pregnant or lactating....while pca has wonderful products that work one of the ingredients in this product is hydroquinone which is what reduces the pigment in the skin and should not be used until after you are done lactating.
Hydroquinone is not safe to use while pregnant or nursing because hydroquinone can go down into your bloodstream. M2 is safe to use while pregnant and nursing because the active ingredients are bigger molecules that do not go down into your bloodstream.
I read here on skincarerx that the M2 refinish products are safe for use when pregnant. I am using their
"Skin Refinish 20%" along with this PCA Phaze 13 and I am having fantastic results. The skin refinish 20% seems to be very similar to this PCA stuff and it has really high reviews too.
Bought this in hopes of avoiding costly laser treatments to fade ugly nickle sized brown patches on fair skin. I am very happy with the results. Must be patient and consistently apply twice daily. It took about three days for the first layer to peel off revealing slightly lighter skin beneath. With repeated use over the past month these spots are are more than 50% lighter. I just bought the c-quench to enhance the effects but too early to comment on. I just hope that I can stay ahead of the effects of the sun.
This is the exact experience i've had / am having. I'm so itchy and irritated and sad because i was really hoping this would work, based on all the good reviews. i literally cried.
It sounds like your skin is just too sensitive for hydroquinone (like mine). I can't use glycolic acid or retinol either. Thankfully, though, I can use the M2 Skin Refinish. It helped clear up my melasma - and helped clear up some breakouts as well. Maybe you should try that instead?
If it is making you peel and become redfaced, kick back to every other day
I was having the same issues you are reporting when I was using the pigment gel and the A&C every night. The label says use 2x a day but there's NO way I could do that. I have very oily skin and must use something during the day under my makeup to control the oil production so my makeup will stay on at work. I'm using PCA only at night. I use La Roche Posay during the day (love their mattifing moisturizer).
Anyway, on the PCA Pigment Gel. Kick back to using it EVERY OTHER day only at night. See if that clears up the redness. Also, be sure to exfoliate as necessary.
I just ordered this product and haven't used it yet. I have some big brown spots on my jaw near my ears and I can "spot treat" those but... I have tons of small hyperpigmentation spots on my whole forehead. Is anyone using the gel on an entire area? I am asking because some of the reviews are saying to only use on the affected areas. I would like to use it basically everywhere but my nose (too sensitive). Thanks!
The PCA Pigment Gel is fine to use as an all over treatment. It won't remove your natural skin color. It targets hyperpigmentation. The Kojic acid will help to give a smoother surface to your skin as well. I've used it as an all over treatment and I've been really happy with my own results.
This morning, my ugly gigantic brown spot that turned scaly and shiny after religiously using this pigment gel 2x/day, got peeled away! Now the spot is 50% gone! You have no idea how LONG the ugly spot was there.
I use this along with C-Quench. One should definitely use it ONY on affected area.I totally recommend~
The only thing I found useful and not a waste of money
I'm using this product along with Brightening Therapy for about 2 years and I love it... The only thing that I really found to be useful... If you apply pigment gel and then brightening therapy and leave it overnight... it peels your skin off making dark spots disappear after several weeks... but when applying one must be careful... and don't touch your skin when it's peeling off...just apply sun protector...
I have has sun spots on the side of my face for years. I thought only a very expensive laster treatment would be the answer. I tried this instead. I cannot believe that they are almost gone!
I have been using this product for two months, it does get worse before better. I was quite tan, so it also left some white spots as well as removing the dark spots. I love it, I am addicted. I was seriously thinking the only option was laser resurfacing at five thousand dollars. This is the answer.
I started with the HQ Free which helped a lot in the beginning for the first month. My brown patches started to peel and flake away. My skin improved, but not to the point I would like. After a month or so, it seemed to stop. So I bought this one with the HQ. It helped my dark spots from coming back, and improved my skin a little more. I am now trying it with the Serum-C to see if it will help more.
This product really works. I have tried other products but this one gave me the best results so far. Been using for about 2 months, and my skin is much clearer, and the dark spots have faded. I am not sure if continued use makes any improvements or just keeps as is.
I bought this product a while ago, within the first 2 nights my sun spots aready started peeling off so I was very please. I had to stop using it as I had a party to attend to it did however only take 2 days to clear up so I was happy not having flaky skin. I now started useing it again but this time round my it has burned my face :( I will try apply it once a day instead of two. It seems my skin is struggling to peel the dead skin off this time round. I do not notice that the brown spots are getting lighter. Not all hope is lost I shall keep trying. I do believe however that this does work and one needs to give the skin a break and allow for the peeling process to take place. after a break start again..
I had started getting dark pigmentation on my upper lip that was forcing me to wear makeup, even if I didn't want to. This stuff was recommended by a friend and it worked perfectly. The pigmentation is nearly gone after a couple of months of use. Be patient--it works. My skin is not sensitive, so it didn't bother me, but if your skin is, test it first.
I used the product on my forehead for a dark spot. The spot became darker and now the whole area around it is darker and red. will it go away or stay? Anyone with same experience.
Don't use this product in the morning, I used couople of times now I have a big white spot, my skin had lost pigmentation. Now I am looking for something that can help to reproduce pigmentation.

I have been using this for three weeks and nothing----my melasma is still there...I am going to keep trying because of the positive results I read here. Wish me Luck!!! Do I need more time or is this not my best choice???
I wish I had read these reviews before I used this product because they were SO ACCURATE. A lot of these reviews warn you that - IT WILL GET WORSE BEFORE IT GETS BETTER. Man were they right!
I didn't know to expect that, so I was panicking when, after applying this 2 times a day for a week, my dark spot got super, super dark and then starting flaking off. The skin under the flaking is AMAZING, so I am happy with the results. But for the week that it got darker and peely, I did not look pretty - so try to schedule the use of this accordingly!
Don't use this if you've got a big party or date that you want to look great for because it WILL look worse before it looks better.
ALSO, use this stuff sparingly! I put too much on one time and it BURNED and then I got a little scab on my face. Again, once the scab fell off, the skin underneath was gorgeous (much better than before), but I had to live with a scab on my face for about 6 days.
Sooo.... if you don't mind looking like hell before you look gorgeous, then this is the product for you. The results are amazing, you just have to put up with some nastiness to get them. Hope this helps you!
WOW! I can see why this is a bestseller. I've been using it for 5 days and already see noticeable results. I've been using other PCA products for almost a year now and my skin looks SO much better. Just needed something to fade the acne scars I've had for years. There is a bit of a stinging sensation at first, nothing too bad. Also, my skin felt kind of itchy after the first few applications. Expect a a bit of peeling, but if you exfoliate, you'll have smoother, clearer skin underneath and the peeling will subside after a while. I would "test" a patch of skin and only use once a day or every other day at first. LOVE this product and wish I'd tried it sooner!
I have been using PCA Skin Pigment Gel for a couple months now and have incredible results. I have melasma on my cheeks and it has lightened the splotches to about 20% of what they used to be. I will keep using it until that last 20% goes away!
After 2 Cosmelan treatments at $800 a pop followed by buying Cosmelan 2 twice at $150 ea. countless derm appoints for acid peels, Hydroquinone and a medication called tri-something, nothing really worked for long or for more than 30% lightening of melasma. For $4000. After 4 wks of PCA pigment gel 2x a day, I have 75% lightening! For $40. Obviously the amount of money spent doesn't matter that much to me, but the amount vs. effectiveness ratio does. Warning: melasma gets worse before it gets better with redness dryness, darkening, flaking and peeling. But these effects are less than what you get after an acid peel.
I must say that I was depressed whenever I would look at myself in the mirror because I had a big dark patch on my upper lip that was very noticeable and unattractive! I use to dread going out in public, especially in stores with bright lighting because I felt as if everyone noticed my dark spot (on my upper lip). I finally went to a dermatologist and was prescribed the PCA gel! Oh my God, what a difference it has made. My spot is now gone!! This stuff truly is amazing and a blessing and I highly recommend it to anyone who suffers from hyperpigmentation! Great and wonderful investment! TRY IT ! You won't regret it!!!!!! Some minor discomfort, but well worth it!
I've been using this along with the M2 HP Skin Refinish, and I am very happy with the results. I've struggled with melasma for years, and this is the first thing that I've tried in a long time that really seems to work. It does cause a bit of peeling, but nothing severe. I'm really happy with this product, and for the price, you can't beat it.
After using this product for two weeks, I have seen noticeable improvement in tone of my skin. The cost is affordable compared to the $150 cream my dermatologist prescribed me. This is just as effective.
im about a shade darker than redbone and i had leftover marks from past pimples and im 15 so alot of ppl my age are so rude they dont care but i used this and it faded a little but not all i still have to use concerler (or how ever its spelled) to even out my skin tone
I have never written a review before, for anything. (I am more of a private person.) But I loved this product so much, that I wanted to tell everyone else looking for something that will lighten the dark patches of skin, how well these products worked for me. What are those spots called? Age spots? Sun Spots? Liver spots?
I am 36 and I started noticing dark patches of skin on my face. I didn't even know what to call them. They're not as dark as a freckle, but without makeup (which is how I usually am), they were noticeable.
I took a chance with PCA pHaze 13 Pigment Bar and PCA Pigment Gel, and after having added these two products into my twice daily face cleansing ritual, I am happy to say that the spots (whatever they are called) are pretty much gone.
My advice: take before and after pictures.
The only downside to this product is that it doesn't smell very good. It's kind of medicine smelling. That's the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5.
I love this stuff. I have been on everything from obaji, which did the trick, but then my melasma came back even worse, and I never stopped peeling. Then a prescription from my doc for 8% hydroquinone and retin-A, which made no difference at all. It's been about 3 weeks now. I am using the retin-A one night and then M2 refinish one night, with the PCA gel every morning and night. I just ordered Revale skincare. I was told it will help with overall skin fitness. I'll keep you posted.
This product worked for me. It may irritate your skin so you may need a day or two off per week. So far it has significantly faded my age spots on my face. Take a picture and compare because the process takes at least 3 weeks.
I have bought this serum many times over.
It is really good and makes my age spots lighter and lighter. I use it in conjunction with the Nu Derm by Obagi and it gives me an extra boost.
I hihgly recommend it.
I have acne scarring on my face, neck and chest. I am starting my 4th week with the PCA Pigment Gel, PCA Pigment Bar and the PCA A&C Serum. The scarring on my face has almost completely cleared. My neck and chest will probably need an additional month to see the same results that I have had with my face. I have received several comments on how bright my skin looks because of it's smoothness, and healed scarring. I don't go out without makeup very often yet but I am sure by this time next month I will be able to. Though this product is expensive for my budget, next week I will order another bottle of the pigment gel.
I have been using this product for just over a week, and already I have seen dramatic results. It does get worse before it gets better. I put it on my dark sun spots and it zaps them. It is almost like a mini peel. A spot on my jawbone in particular became darker and scaly after use, but then when that skin flaked off, new spot free skin was revealed. Amazing. It does burn a little right after application, but fairly minor. If I had sensitive skin, I would be careful. FYI, I am blue eyed caucasion with light olive skin, slightly oily.
I have darkish age spots and have tried other products, including fade creams and prescription ointments like Retin-A. Nothing has worked until this product, which makes your skin scaly, even darkens it, before exfoliating off into new and unblemished skin. I was so delighted with not only the results, but that other comments in these reviews were accurate! I only used the product for 2 weeks before seeing dramatic results, using as directed twice a day and covering with sunscreen. Highly recommended as an inexpensive method to fade away those age spots.
I have only had this product for 2 nights and I already see a very significant difference in my skin. The first night that I used it I had some acne, the next morning that was almost completely gone and my dark spot also looked a lot lighter, after one night. The next night I used it when I woke up the acne was completely gone and the dark spots on my face (around mouth, on my forehead, and my freckles) were even lighter. I can't wait to see my skin in a week or even a month. This product is truly amazing. I wish I had gotten it a long time ago. I don't usually do these reviews either so for me to do one I really have to be impressed. Great product, a must try.
I have been using this product for years and have been so happy with it. I have an olive complexion and looked like I had a dark line above my lip (not a good look). Using this product got rid of the line. I have been so amazed!
I have hyperpigmentation around my eyes from oral birth control. The pigment made me look tired all the time since there were dark lines under my eyes. I'ved used the product twice a day (morning and night) for 3 weeks, and I can barely see the pigment now. My skin gets dry around the application area and peeled once, but I'm so happy the mask is finally fading!
I read the reviews before buying this and, like many others, I was spending hundreds of $/month at a dermatologist. I was skeptical but figured what could I lose. In a nutshell, this stuff is amazing. One month has seen more results than my Dr. has gotten in a year!

For some reason I developed a dark patch (melasma?) on my upper lip recently (not pregnant, have been on the Pill for years, have been going out in the sun for years, etc), so not sure what brought it on, maybe age... But it looked like I had a moustache and it made me extremely self-conscious. Was eager to try something that was not really expensive in case it didn't work. Read all the reviews here and decided to give it a try.
It does sting your skin a bit when you put it on, but to me this is proof that something must be working! I used it 2x a day for a week and the dark patch was gone! I found that it did dry my skin in that area, so I use a moisturizer, and I only use the product now once a day. You do need to use a sunscreen on top of it as the other people suggest though (I wear an SPF 30).
But I am very satisfied with this product, and glad I didn't have to spend a fortune! I still go out in the sun and as long as I wear the sunscreen it doesn't seem to be coming back either! YAY!
This stuff does work. I have had 2 babies in the last 3 years and it left me with lovely brown patches all over my face. This gel in combination with the phaze 16 has really lightened the area!
I had melasma on my upper lip (most of it on the left side) when I got pregnant, and it got worse when I had my baby, I tried everything people will recommend to me (Bio Oil, Porcelana, etc)the only thing that worked was the Bella B lightner lotion, but it took forever and once I was in the sun (with protection) the spot came back again.
After reading these reviews I went ahead and ordered and I couldn't be more happy!!! my melasma is gone and I only used this product for 4 days!!! it did burned and it did peeled, but I was all for it, I rather be in pain and have my face red for a couple of days that live with my fake mustache forever =)
I had a facial peel 4 years ago, and my dermatologist suggested continued use of this product to keep any hyperpigmentation from reoccuring, and it has worked. I use the pigment gel along with the SPF25 skin cream and am very pleased. Thank you
I'm sorry to hear that some people didn't see any positive result, but for me IT DID WORK. I didn't see anything different during the first few weeks, but right after the 4th week I, all of a sudden, noticed that my age spots were fading. I'm happy! FYI: I'm also using PCA Skin's C-Strength 15% (with 5% vitamin e) and my skin type is dry to normal.
i used this stuff to. it basically burned my skin. it took 6 weeks for the bloches on my face to clear. there is one on my forehead still waiting to clear up. ive bought 2 things online. never again. i went to the dermatologist yesterday. id rather spend 100 bucks on something that want damage me and help rather than continously trying things that make things worse rather than better...or not work at all.
I used a whole bottle for about 3 months now and nothing happend. No result at all.
In fact, it made my skin rough and wrinkled. Some part of my melasma got vivid and the whole face got darker.
When I stopped using it my face got better and brighter.
I think this product is too strong or toxic. It really made my face look like a dead person.
I really don't understand how people on here have such excellent results.
Honestly i can't belive all these good feedback on here.
I have been using this product above my lip for years. My dermatologist recommended it and it works! I am so happy that she did. The dark skin above my lip is gone (now it matches my the rest of my face). This product is great!
For the past month I've been using this serum along with the Pigment Bar, Nutrient Toner, C-Strength 15% and Silkcoat Balm and the results I've experienced are very promising. I'm experiencing noticable melasma fading and an overall brightening of my skin tone. This serum does sting a bit when applied but it fades away after a few minutes. Expect some initial skin redness and sensitivity until your skin gets used to it.
I bought this product based on the reviews, along with other PCA products, and after I began using it (with the other products) I noticed my skin went insane. Red, itchy, bumpy. I didn't know exactly what was going on--thought it might be that time of the month skin issues. Let it calm down and then used it again. This product was causing it. I'm returning it.
I had hyperpigmentation on my forehead and chin, due to which my forehead and chin had a dark mask like texture. I have been using this product for a month now. My forehead and chin is so much lighter and my entire skin tone is even now. This product is amazing!!
I have melasma on my upper lip which at one point looked like a mustache . I had to use tons of makeup to cover it up, which sometimes made it look worse. I've been using this product for a week and have already seen a huge difference. I don't have to wear a thick layer of foundation and powder on my upper lip anymore. Just make sure you wear tons of sunscreen!
Because of constant sun exposure I have sun spots all over my face. I love this this product. It stung my skin on the first week and I got some major peeling. But once my skin peeled I saw great results. The brown spots are getting lighter and lighter. I've tried other porducts with hidroquinone but nothing compares to this one. It's the best ever!
I started using this product based on the reviews that I read on this site. Within three days of using this product I noticed a big change. In addition to the pigment change, that even my husband noticed, my skin was tighter and very smooth. I did experience a little burning in the first few days of use, but nothing compared to the laser treatment that I tried for the same problem. I am odering more for others to try!
I purchased this in early 2007 for myself to treat upper lip and eyebrow melasma which developed after birth control usage. Dark spots lightened moderatley.
The real results came to my mother( who lives in the virgin islands). I send her the remainder of my bottle. She has had all over dark pigmentation, (where she used derma blend to cover up)for many years(since the 80's). ( I will not bore you with all her attempts to minimize the dark spots). Well she started the second week of january, 2008 and when i went home to visit( mid february), i encountered a new mom! her face has cleared at least 70%. She has cut down drastically on using dermablend, and is covering up with powder mineral foundation. Mom is a new woman.
I started developing melasma on my upper lip soon after starting birth control pills (about 9 months ago). I purchased this product based on the high ratings, but was skeptical as to if/how it would work. I noticed results almost immediately! I used the product as directed for only a week before the dark spots were almost completely gone!!! I will say that it burns like crazy, but the results are definitely worth the short-term discomfort. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has developed melasma from birth control or pregnancy.
Im a hispanic with alot of freckles and uneven skin. I started using this product for about 2 full weeks and I started peeling alot on about the 8th day, but kept using it. My face started tingling when I cleansed it, but not too bothersome. What I didn't expect was really tight skin! OK by me since I was starting to feel a little aging skin at 40. But I do feel like my skin needs a stronger moisturizer. I guess it's the new skin being exposed. I have noticed the fading and my co-workers told me my skin looks glowing. I'm feel confident in this product & the price has been the best I've found on the net.
I am a hispanic woman with dark olive skin and plenty of pigmentation spots left over from acne. I ordered this product a month ago and I must say that so far my hyperpigmentation spots have become lighter. I only gave it 4 stars because I have not used for a long time (I've been using it religiously for 3 wks, twice a day), but I am so grateful for what it has done for me so far. There's a bit of flaking the first week or two but it was not bad for me. I only use it on the spots. Please remember not all products work the same way on every person. I ordered this same product without the HQ a year ago and it didn't do much, and I was hesistant to order this one.
My dermatologist offered me this product in the early nineties when I was in college, and I can't even count the number of compliments I got from my colleagues, both male and female. Unfortunately, when my dermatologist passed away, I never got the name of the maker of this product. While cleaning my basement this passed summer, I FOUND THE LITERATURE ON THIS PRODUCT AND LOOKED IT UP ON THE INTERNET!!! I ordered the product and it worked just as magical as it did years ago. This is a wonderful product. Now if you really want to see super results, take a really warm or hot bath for 1 to 2 hours a day and then put the serum on your face. After about 5 days, your dead skin will literally peel off while you are in the bath tub. TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!
I have tried numerous products and spent hundreds of dollars on trying to find a product that truly works. Finally I found Phaze 13 and it works wonders. It has worked so well that even my Mom has started using it. She loves it as much as me! I will always buy this product!
