I'm 31 and still battle with acne prone skin partially due to fighting dirt and oil that then causes over-drying. Estheticians help, but a good product is key... Anyway, this bar has a smell that takes getting used to, but it worth the glow that it gives my skin. I also use one of PCA's moisturizing and toner and my skin has never looked so supple, fresh and even-in-tone.
I'm using Clearskin combined w/ the Blemish Bar (at night) and Oily/Problem Skin Was (in the morning) and have seen fantastic results in just 3 days. I am a 33 y/o woman w/ adult hormonal acne. I've been on an antibiotic for almost 6 months but was still getting cysts on my neck and chin. Tried Proactive & Dermalogica and my skin got worse... got my Clearskin and Blemish Bar Friday and Monday the cysts shrunk (usually takes a month or so) and no new cysts! The oil is also pretty manageable now too... I'm hoping that gets better. :D My skin is smooth and soft and well hydrated.
I bought this in conjucntion with the Brakout Control Solution - Trial Size. None of the products worked. This one in particular is expensive, no results and smells terrible. My boyfriend would get close to my face to give me a kiss on the cheek and complain about the smell. Dont waste your money. Go to a dermatologist.
i have been on two rounds of accutane and still have breakouts; this is the only products that works for me. a little drying, but it feels great when you are always oil issues.

I purchased this Blemish Control Bar three weeks ago and it has worked wonders for my face. It has minimize and got rid of a lot of my acne. Using this in conjuction with PCA Skin Acne Cream. All I really have now is Acne Scars, which seems to be lightening day to day. Would recommend this facial cleasner!
I have tried numerous cleanser, from the most cheap to the most expensive i can really say this cleanser is wonderful my skin has improved so much and left so clean, can't say the same for the benzoyl peroxide spot treatment.
I have fairly oily skin and suffer from hormonal breakouts; I have been using this product every morning and the Murad Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser before bed and I must say... this has really helped my skin. It has almost eliminated any breakouts, I like the menthol fragrance, and it leaves my skin feeling wonderful. I have noticed a huge difference in my complexion since I began using this product. I highly recommend it!!
I use this in the morning followed by the PCA Benzoyl Peroxide acne cream. After a few weeks, I noticed smoother skin and less break-outs. I still get monthly breakouts on my chin and jawline, but a lot fewer and they heal much faster. It also absorbs oil so I'm not having to dab powder on my nose and forehead all day long. Yes, it does have a rather strong smell, but it rinses away and doesn't linger as far as I can tell. I use it in the shower, which may help that problem. It also stings if you get it in your eyes, so be careful. Besides the DDF sulfur mask, this is the best product I've ever tried for acne. And believe me, I've used DOZENS over the years.
I really like this product and the company provides excellent customer service. Using this with the acne trial kit for two weeks has improved the texture of my skin and helped to clear the acne.
I have monthly outbreaks of acne; usually a week or so before my cycle. Nothing I couldn't live with, and it mostly amounts to a pimple or two. Even so, I purchased this soap on a whim, and must say I'm pretty impressed. It pretty well dried up the pimples in a day or so. That I also happened to receive it during the rare week that I get a MAJOR premenstrual breakout was a serious plus. The smell is medicinal, but not especially so (Vic's vapor rub smells stronger). I'm impressed.
