I have atopic dermatitis all my life and my skin was always red and raw...I could use nothing but medicated ointment which wasn't too much of help anyways. My facial lady says my skin is "angry", I went through about an year of facial treatment with Phytomer products before she told me to start using this cream since my skin was less irritated by then. As per her advice, I had to ease in (once in every few days) since it is still strong for my skin, so it did burn for a while at the beging. But now after using this over a year, I can use it twice a day, morning and night, and it absolutely changed my skin. I no longer go to my dermatologist. Daily use of Rosee Visage, Hydracontinue serun and this cream keep my facial skin like I never had atopic dermatitis. Thanks for the good product! Having had eczema since childhood, my complexion is particularly sensitive to product ingredients. Phytomer's Douceur Marine is so gentle, it can even be tolerated on my eyelids! I have used it on the grandkids cheeks when they get red; it calms the skin right down. It is a light product and smooths on easily. Its worth a try. You may find, like me, you can't do without it.

This product irritated my skin instantly and didn't allow it to breath, even though I put on a tiny amount. Also, it irritated my neck. I would recommend that you sample it on your face once or twice before purchasing. My face grew red and hot under this product, which costs too much for such a reaction!! Have tried it a few times since the initial reaction and it happens every time. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I have pretty dry sensitive skin but it can get greasy if I put super moisturizers on it. I was in Vegas (the land of even dryer air) and got a facial at Green valley ranch. The woman recommended this moisturizer and it made a difference INSTANTLY. 1 year later I still love it and buy it again and again. Its velvet soft but feels very light.
