Seeing that ingredients 3 and 4 are Petroleum and Vegetable Shortening really put me off. The addition of "Crisco" is just cheap... Petroleum is softening in the short term, but has negative effects over time and will actually make your skin DRIER. If you love your lips you will NOT put this on them.
I agree with the other reviews - this is the best lip product I've used. I use other Skinceutical products and have loved my results so I wanted to do something for my aging, chronically chapped lips! Just a little warning, my lips actually peeled and cracked a bit after the first few days of treatment with this - but that is because it exfoliates. I continued on - and voila - my lips are now smooth and seem a little fuller and pinker, too. I love all Skinceutical products - will never switch brands!
I use a pump of this nightly around my nostrils when I've got a runny nose and it completely prevents my nose from getting all red and chapped looking.
