I am not sure how well this product works because the container is defective. I used it for a few weeks and was not sure if I saw any results and had stopped it for a few weeks because I had a laser skin treatment. When I tried to use it again the product would not dispense. It is a metal container so it seems like there is no way to get the product out. Sadly it was a waste of $85.00 and I will never know if the product works because I am not going to spend that kind of money on a product you can't get out of the container. I swear I saw a review somewhere saying the same thing, I should of listened because it doesn't matter how good a product is if you can't get it out to use it.. I love SkinCeuticals products so this was a real disappointment.
Didn't lighten my freckles (or sunspots?) as much as I hoped3
Like an idiot, I used to go tanning when I was in high school because I hated being so pale. Now that I'm 25 I have a bunch of very light freckles starting to surface on my cheeks. I've tried IPL, but it only seems to work on very dark freckles. Also, being half Italian I'm prone to these wretched brown "beauty marks" that aren't so beautfiul at all. I was hoping to see a significant improvement with this product, but I just didn't. I'm buying it one more time to see if longer use helps, but if not I'll try Epiquin again.
I read about this product being as effective as hydroquinone so I decided to try it. I found a local spa that gave out samples and got 2 small tubes which lasted me two weeks using it twice a day. In those two weeks my melasma has faded 50% - if not more. I've had melasma for 3 years now and have tried it all -the potions, the lotions, the supplements - but this is the most improvement I've seen yet. I use it in the a.m. after my vitamin c serum and in the p.m. after my retin a. I'm hoping to just maintain at bedtime when it gets to a more manageable level.

I, too, bought this hoping it would work wonders. I used it from end of July to August. Then the weather got dry and my sunscreen was too drying. I had to stop using this before I found a good sunscreen. A few months later I found a good suncreen, eager to use this product again. I was shocked to see my Skinceuticals Pigment Regular had turned brown. I pumped out the brown portion and hoped the remaining would be good/usable. After pumping out about 1ml, the bottle seemed empty out. In July/August I used only on feckles, so I am sure there should be plenty left. But there was no way for me to see clearly, this is a bad design of packaging.
SkinCareRx has a 60 day exchange/return policy. They will replace the product if the pump is is not working. Give them a call...their Customer Service is great. I saw great results with the product. I only use it a couple times a week and would reorder.
It works great on my sun spots. I used everyday and once a day (before bed), and it took about two weeks to see result. Will purchase again when the bottle is empty. It took one star off as the pump isn't too easy too work with, i wish it was in a tube.
