Night Cream Over Serum is OK
Was this helpful?
First, this is an outstanding OTC retinol product which contains lots of other skin benefiting ingredients in a container that prevents the retinol from degrading. Second, Eileen M., it's perfectly OK to use your regular night cream over the retinol serum. Apply the serum first, then let it absorb for about 20 minutes. You can then apply your usual cream without diluting the power and benefit of the serum. This is not an either or type of product.

I've been using this for about a year and it has really transformed my skin. I am in my early thirties and I used to get frequent breakouts on my chin, leading to a lot of red splotches. My breakouts have stopped and my acne scars have faded dramatically, as well as sun damage spots on my nose, and my skin tone is now so even all over my face that I find that most days now I can simply go without foundation and my skin looks extremely smooth. I use the product every other day. I have tried to step up to using it more frequently, but doing so dries out my skin too much and given the quality of results I get using it every other day, I just stick with that schedule. After washing my face, I apply this on my skin and follow the recommendation to wait at least 15 minutes before following up with any other moisturizer. That helps make sure it is really absorbed in my skin. Of the various products I've tried, including acne systems and other anti-aging products, this has truly had the most dramatic results. I couldn't be happier with it!

this product itself is great and worth the price except tthe package, it will stop working with at least 1/2 of the product in prison, only way to use it, take scissors to it , near the top and try and cut through it, then use q-tips to use the other 1/2 of the product u payed for.

I've been using this product for little over a month and am seeing some differences. The changes weren't immediate but my skin is smoother and more even in texture. I have mild acne and this creme seems to have helped. I used it twice per week for the first several weeks and I now am using it three times a week. I did have minor white head breakouts on the forehead and chin when I first strated using it. I was told to stick with it and that my skin was purging some "gunk". This was the case. After a couple weeks the small whiteheads were gone. I'd like to try the 1.0 when I finish this bottle. This is the first Retinol I have tried so I really can't compare this product to others.

I have been using this product for a few months now and have been surprised that it has not caused any irritation at all. I only use it 2 nights a week because you can use night cream when you apply this product and I’m not willing to forgo my moisturizer every night. I don’t think I have been using it long enough to comment on fading of scares or wrinkles. But I can say I have used other retinol creams and have not been able to continue uses to see any effects because of the constant irritation. So I will continue to apply 2 times a week and have faith is will keep the wrinkles away. And I hope it really works because the bottle is really small.

I am sure this night cream works but I will never know because I only got it out of the spray can one night. I have tried for three more nights to get some cream out of the can but to no avail. Sure wasted my money,.

I'm on my second try (the first one wouldn't work at all) and I only got 4 sprays out of it and it was a tiny bit at best each time. The customer service rep told me to shake it and turn it upside down to spray - which I did. Can't recommend this to anyone as is.
