Follow the directions and it works great. Do not exceed or try to speed up the process...It peeled my entire face off in one week. I give it a five because it does what it says when used as directed.

So far I love the retinol a (1.0). I used the 0.5 for about 4 months everynight before moving on to the 1.0. I have been using the 1.0 since the 7th of January, but now all of a sudden my face feels burnt, red and has tiny bumps. Will this exfolliate and flake away as it should? I am going to back off and use it only every other day or every two days. I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. p.s. I was also wondering where others are able to buy this over the counter? Mine was not available over the counter, I had to purchase it from my doctor. Thanks

This product delivers on it's promises, but as you can read in other people's reviews, if not used properly you may have ill-effects. I would absolutely suggest starting with their .5% version first because your skin must get acclimated to the retinol. People should NOT buy this one first. My skin was receptive to the retinol because I had conditioned it with Green Cream levels 6 & 9 before trying this. I alternate this product with the Mama lotion (not to be used together). On the nights I use this I seem to be able to see an improvement in the appearance of my skin the next morning. I am amazed at the things retinol has done for my skin!

Hmm Im still amazed that this is an OTC product. I started using this product very slowly. I finally have built up a tolerance but am at the weird stage where my skin is flaking off, red and wrinkles appear much deeper. I know this is ALL temporal. Right now Im single and working so Im glad Im not out being social. Because I look I just had a chemical peel. In fact Im going to reduce my usage. I'm 30 btw.

My face is not sensitive,I have been using Retin-A for 2 years, the strongest o.1% with no problems.But this product is so stong that it burnt my face so bad i could not go out for over a week and the smell is so horrible it gave me a headache it wasen,t a perfumey smell but a very strong chemical smell i gave it 1 star for the bottle.

This cream has helped smooth out and fade acne scars as well as diminish fine lines and shrink my pore size. It does take time to do this though. It's not an overnight fix. This product is far above that of any retinol product you can buy at your local drugstore. Start off slowly though. I used it every night in the beginning and it did make my face red and peeling. I scaled back to what the directions on the product say and used it 2 to 3 times a week. The redness and peeling went away and now I can use it every night without irritation. Follow those directions! This is a strong product. The results are worth it though. I never go without it.

For an over the counter retinol treatment, this is the best product I've used. My freckles have faded to nothing and my skin looks amazing. It takes time to see results though - prob 3-6 months for a big change.

love it love it love it did I say how much I love this worth every penny I already use rx retin a but this leaves my skin not so dry and refining pores color texture. A definate repurchase for me.
