| I have suffered from oily, shiny acne prone skin for 6 years now--as I'm nearly 30. I don't like to wear foundation or powder. So, I've lived with the shiny skin and used oil blotter papers about ten times a day. My dermatologist suggested I try this kit when she touched my face and eralized just how oily I am. In the past, I've asked about ProActiv and she told me that it wouldn't work for me b/c it would be too harsh, but this product is much more gentle. Now, I have very sensitive skin that feels dry even though it is oily. I was worried about this product being too harsh. But, my skin has much improved and is actually less dry and way less irritated.
So, I use the cleanser only at night (and use another gentle cleanser in the morning) and I use the treatment lotion in the morning. My small pimples have disappeared and my face is matte all day. I have no idea how this product does it! I have never been matte! Now, I don't use the toner b/c its too much for my skin, but I may work up to every other day or when I think I'm particularly oily. But so far, the cleanser and lotion have far surpassed my expectations. Try it. What do you have to lose? |
