If the price bothers you it shouldn't because this serum can replace at least 3 other skin care products you already own.. I also can't get over how much time it saves as it drys so fast. I love how your skin tightens as it is absorbed I just started using and see an improvement in tone of skin. For my skin it is a little drying so do have to use moisturizer. I'm sorry I didn't try sooner. I also find the scent to be pleasant. This is one product you won't be sorry you tried.
I just love this product, I don't know why the negative responses but as far as I am concerned it is the best product I have used (and I have used many products) I am 60 and my skin looks like I am 40, just love it.
I have been using this on and off for several years. It is expensive, but I always buy it when it is on sale which helps. It also is as others have stated, several products in one, which saves time/money in your daily routine. I use it only in the morning and it lasts about 3 months (i alternate with Retin A and night cream in the p.m.). My skin looks good, I am 46. When I stop using it, I feel like a see a difference (duller). I also use it because it consistently is rated high by dermatologists for having 'science' behind it. I am giving it one less star because it leaves my skin feeling a little dry after I put it on. I follow it with a spf sunscreen which gives me the moisture I need.
I started using this product along with TNS eye repair about five days ago. I'm greatly disappointed with the reaction I am having with both products. My skin which was in excellent shape before (be we are always looking to improve), now it is swollen, red and has little bumps all over that give the texture a very rough look and feel. My skin is hot to touch and very dry and itchy. Prior to using this product my skin was glowing and smooth. I have an olive complexion and it is rare my skin reacts negatively to anything. I'm not sure if this products starts a major peel and this is part of what is supposed to happen to initiate skin renewal. Does anyone know?
I purchased the TNS Essential Serum on Feb 14th 2011 from my doctor’s office and used it for 4-5 weeks before I ran out because I used it twice a day for my AM and PM skin regimen. I am 40 and have tried several different product lines and I noticed an improvement in my skin with this product. My skin looked firmer and my wrinkles appeared softer and I thought the overall texture looked a bit better for just a topical product. I just re-purchased the TNS Essential Serum last Tues, May 3rd from the same Dr’s office and used it for two days and nights to wake up Thursday with my face irritated and swollen around my eyes. The skin on my neck was extremely irritated to the point of it being red and itchy and flaky. I have not used the serum since my reaction and my skin on my face a week later is still dry and my neck still has a rash. I went to my Dermatologist and she thinks it might be a bad batch or I have built up an intolerance to one of the ingredients in the product. The only other product I’ve ever used that worked for a few weeks and then caused me issues was Prevage but many people have had an intolerance to Idebenone in Prevage. I can’t find any reviews where someone has had an intolerance to TNS. Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m trying to find out if it is just this particular batch or my skin is the problem. I’ve patched tested my arm for a few days and had the same reaction with the red inflamed skin and rash. Thank you
Previousy, I've used about four bottles of this product with no side effects and great results. For budget reasons, I stopped using the product for about 8 months. I just started back up and, after using for two days, I have a red uncomfortable rash on my cheeks and little bumps along my jaw and neck.
I had a terrible reaction to tri-retinol complex. I had inflamed, itchy neck and face. It burns and itches and is fire red. It looked like a really bad sunburn. At first I thought it was from scrubbing from my ultra sonic cleanser or from a detox that I was doing. But I have not put anything except water on my face for several days now and it seems to be getting better. Oh, no, I just ordered Essential Serum and received it today. I will go slow. This product was recommended to me by the people at Calidora, a local skin care clinic. My previous routine was a 2-product process: cleanse and use a moisturizing tinted sunscreen.
Now that I'm on Skin Medica, I am washing, then moisturizing with the TNS Essential Serum. Other than adding a nice moisturized glow to my face, I don't feel that anything special is happening. It feels nice, but not any nicer than anything else. And it smells like Pevonia's walnut-based products, which I always hated the smell of! After that, I use SkinMedica's CalmPlex, a thick moisturizer, which also feels nice on my dry skin, but again, after a month, I've not seen any change in my skin. And then in the morning I STILL need to add a sunscreen on top! Combining this with the fact that after a month I'm almost out of this criminally-expensive stuff, I am not going to repeat with SkinMedica. It does give me a luminous glow, but because my skin is still very red (from sun damage), I end up covering the luminous glow with foundation anyway. I'm going back to my basic routine after this is used up.

I wasn't sure what to think of this serum when I first heard about it. It almost seems to good to be true. Lets be honest...IT'S NOT CHEAP. However, I did my homework. I found out that this serum covers several serums I was applying every morning & evening. I get my antioxidant, my peptide, my brightening serum and firming cream...not to mention the BEST growth factor on the market all in one. I end up saving hundreds by using this product. My skin looks amazing. People don't believe my age. It's luminous and firm. My lines have drastically reduced. I love this product. I'll never go back to my 10 minute morning routine, now it's just my TNS Essential Serum, Moisturizer/Spf & off I go!
I LOVE this product - look forward to putting it on - smells a little weird - but my skin drinks it in and I have definitely seen a difference in skin tone, my skin has a healthy glow, will buy again even though it is expensive, but worth it.
This review is the only one that I have seen that makes this product seem absolutely repulsive. It appears as though this person is a bit theatrical in her review, which can be seen by her comment, "Would make a great gift for an evil mother-in-law." I have consulted with a licensed esatician and have confirmed that the human growth factor is not made of baby foreskin. The unfortunate thing is that her review would greatly detour anyone from trying this product, which could bring incredible results to someones skin.
