how to use it
Apply a thin even layer of Solbar Shield to all sun exposed areas of dry skin 15-20 minutes before sun exposure and massage gently until clear sheen appears. Allow to dry. Avoid contact with clothing until sunscreen is dry. Reapply to DRY skin after prolonged swimming, outdoors physical activity, excessive perspiration or towel drying.

I have extremely pale skin and I am constantly trying new suncreens to find one that works. I was recommended this by a customer who has very pale skin like me and I took this product to Mexico for a week vacation.
This worked GREAT!
Now as the other folks noted, yes it is greasy, but it works better than any other product. This sunscreen 'sits' on top of your skin so it doesn't soak in, but this is a factor of the zinc and since it works, i forgive it that. I didn't even need to reapply very much with this compared to normal sunscreens.
I took a week long trip to Mexico where i didnt get burnt. I plan to buy lots more!

I love this sun screen and it's not greasy, it's zinc; a mineral that happens to be good for your skin and will not cause breakouts. Also, since it's zinc, you don't have to wait the 30 minutes for it to become effective, put it on and you're good to go. You have to rub it in really well because it is thick, but once you do, it does an outstanding job.
....definitely not OK for me for my face.....I have somewhat dry skin, and this was just too greasy/thick for the face. Having to use up the rest on my body for days @ the beach or long days outside.....won't reorder
I have Combination sensitive rosacea skin. This sunscreen is heavy and greasy that closes my pores. It's irritating my skin after applying it and cause small pimples over my face. Also it has low spf protection depend on EWG safety. It's the worst sunscreen I have been used.
My skin is so dry it cracks and even bleeds in the winter time. I love this sunscreen because it's so hydrating and soothing. I think it's the aloe that makes my skin feel so good. I'll probably keep using it.
