In my mid-40's. I need a good moisturizer for my "mature" skin that still has acne tendency. Nice moisturizing, not irritating, not clogging, no perfumey smell.
I have acne prone, dry to dehydrated skin, breaks out at the drop of a hat which is a hard combo to get moisturized. I use retin a which dries out my skin as well. So, I need something that will moisturize my skin but not break me out and I have tried everything on the planet. EVERYTHING breaks me out. But this does not. I only use it at night because I use a spf moistuizer during the day. It is moisturizing, doesn't break me out ever and doesn't clog any pores on my face which usually happens all the time. Because I use retin a I could actually use a little more moisture but as soon as I try something else, I break out. So, this is a staple for me and my mom uses it too, she has the same kind of skin. I also feel like it helps with skin tone some, my skin is brighter when I use this and has less sun damage.
Good for skin that doesn\'t need a LOT of hydration
This is a nice, gentle, light weight moisturizer...especially for the price. But, for me, it just wasn't moisturizing enough. Within an hour of applying, my face feels completely dry again. I have combination skin and occasional adult acne (even though I never really had acne as a teenager). I used to use oil control products in my teens and early 20's, but now that I'm in my mid-30's, I find that I definitely need quite a bit more (heavier) hydration in my facial moisturizers.
I have been using this moisturizer for about three years. It has a great ingredient list and it feels great and gives your skin a fresh, healthy look. You can use it whether you have dry or oily skin. I have oily skin, but I also bought it for my boyfriend who has very dry facial skin and he loved it too! :)
I've given this a week so far but will update again. I am acne prone with dry and oily skin -- crazy I know. Note: I don't wear makeup. This washes off easily. This moisturizes my skin well. It's the best moisturizer I've used so far. A little goes a looooong way and it spreads very nicely. Con: Leaves me oily. I pat my face with blotting paper, but I'm oily in 10 minutes. I'm just getting my skin back under control from acne breakouts, so the overly oiliness might be a combination of imbalanced skin and the product. But I must say this does not *** repeat *** does not break me out, clog my pores, or irritate my ultra sensitive eyes. I just started wearing contacts so this is a big deal for me. My skin is clearing, partly due to the moisturizer, partly from everything else I'm doing. I like it enough that I ordered the other items in the line. We'll see how it goes. This deserves more time.

I'm in my 30s and also suffer from adult acne. My skin is very sensitive (and oily) and most acne medications cause horrible dryness, peeling and redness, but even with using Solvere's other products (the cleanser and gel), I haven't had any of those problems from the very start. I use this moisturizer every evening before bed and it's been great to my skin. I love the natural ingredients too. Curious to see how well my skin does with it come wintertime - I'm definitely reordering!
I try this moisturizer because of great reviews here and now I'm hooked. It goes so light and absorb suddenly. No greasy and no huge price tag. It helps keep my adult acne under control! And look at those Vitamins it contains. Hands down!!
This is a great lotion for me. I would say I have combination skin and it's not a greasy type of moisturizer. I have been using it with MaMa Lotion and both together has been wonderful so far. I haven't had a dry spot yet while using this. I've only been using both lotions for a week, but I can tell a difference with both of them. Any new little blemishes that pop up are pretty much stopped in their tracks. I'm going to wait a bit longer to leave a review for MaMa, but I really love Solvere and it's safe to say this is a great buy!
This is a great product. My skin was really flaky after using Retin-A (for wrinkles/not acne). After two days, the flakes are gone and my skin feels very moisturized. Great product and a great price. I would highly recommend.
This is a great moisturizer with a great price tag! I suffer from adult acne, and this is the one moisturizer I found that doesn't cause flare ups. I use this as part of my regimen in the pm - I wash with LaRoche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel, then apply Skinmedica Acne toner, and follow-up with this moisturizer. I haven't had a breakout in about a month and a half.
This is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used for my aging, but still acne/clog prone skin. Rich hydration, but no irritation whatsoever.......and cheap!!
