Smooth evenly over clean, exfoliated face and body. Color is instant and will intensify in 3 hours. To avoid discoloring palms wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. To maintain tan apply this product 1 to 3 times weekly at night in conjunction with the Tan Moisturizer Maintainer in the morning.

Before this I had yet to find a sunless tanner for my extremely fair skin. I do not normally tan at all. I am in two wedding this spring and decided this winter to try and find a sunless tanner for the weddings. I am not a fan of the spray tan as I don't think they work and they allways look extremely fake on me. Because I have fair skin, I didn't want a tanner that was really dark...just something that gave me a little bit of color. THIS DID...I look "sun kissed" The initial color of the lotion out of the bottle made me really nervous, but Like the other post said..mix one pump of the tanner with another pump of your favorite general lotion (ex. aveno). The two will tame the color a little bit and also make it smell good:):)...I love this and will be buying another bottle

This is comparable to the B.E. Faux Tan and i apply it with the b.e. body brush, this is great and i'm super pale and it gives me a true golden tan even on my chest where i can't get tan with other products.

im a straight guy and i hate going into tanning salons and doing everything to get a nice tan... i tried this and i think it gives me a great tan thats not too dark where it looks fake and not too light where i look orange. i usually mix it in with some lotion so i dont get too dark and i like that it doesnt streak and looks natural.. as soon as my bottle's done ill be buying another one.

As I am also fair and burn, using a dark sunless tanning lotion looks unnatural. HOWEVER, my clever trick is to use the medium Sun product and cut it with lotion. Don't use a thick moisturizing lotion as this will lessen the depth of your color. Just a regular, store brand lotion that has a scent you like will work great. With gloves on my hands, I use 1 pump of tanning product per 1 pump of lotion, mix them with my hands, and apply. It works great.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY SOMETHING IN REGARDS TO CYNTHIA'S REVIEW. I'VE NEVER HAD IT STREAK EVER. THERE IS A KEY TO PUTTING IN ON. YOU SHOULD DO SMALL SECTIONS OF YOUR BODY AT A TIME. LIKE IF YOU ARE DOING YOUR LEGS, DO BOTTOM HALF OF LEG FIRST, THEN DO YOUR THIGH. DONT TRY AND DO YOUR WHOLE LEG FROM TOP TO BOTTOM ALL AT ONCE. YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS FOR SURE. I HOPE THIS HELPS! =)

I got this at a local salon. I put it on, wearing gloves, applying it in a fast circular motion. A couple of hours later, I got dressed in clothes, that if they did get stained it wouldn't be the end of the world. As soon as I got to my destiation, (about an hour by car) two ladies walked up and told me how great I looked and asked where I had gone on vacation. When I told them, there were amazed. I have recommended this product to so many people, I should be in sales for the company. I am sold on it. I love this so much better than the misting tan booths that I had tried.

I decided to try this brand b/c the salon I go to carries SUN, and I trust they're going to carry something great. I am going on a trip and decided to try a self-tanner. I am fair skinned and have blonde hair. I was pretty intimidated by the dark color of the tanner. I feel that the consistency gets sticky and it is hard to spread-not like a lotion. I probably could've been more generous but I didn't want people to see me and think that I fell in the mud. The color was a wonderful golden, but not like the color I get when I sit in the sun. The tanning smell is gone in the morning, but you do have to wash off the residue. I think I'm going to try the spray to get an easier and even application.

I am quite fair, I don't tan and most products are too yellow on my skin. This product goes on initially with a red-brown color. The redness fades over time (just like red hair dye) to a more golden color...JUST LIKE A REAL TAN! You start off a little redder like you were at the beach yesterday, then it gradually fades (unless re-applied). It doesn't have that "smell" that other products do. It's tinted so easy to see where you put it. You get some color immediately! The only thing is it can really stain your hands. I put on a waterproof lotion (glove-in-a-bottle)before, and after I spend about 5 minutes alternating between a foot scrub and soap to get the stuff off my palms. It does come off though and it's worth it to me.
