This goes on kinda thick, but stays on well. I recommend this for anytime you need sun protection in the water. However, it is not great for a daily sunscreen - it leaves a slight white film on my slightly tanned skin. It also will rub off on things like clothing and handbags, so not great if you\'re carrying a leather bag. This product had a strange reaction in my travel GoToob, it clumped up into a big ball inside and was so thick it destroyed the slotted nozzle on the tube.
I intended to check out with the Stone Crop Tonique, but oops. Anyways, thought I\'d give this a try. I like it for morning use since it is very gentle. Or if my skin just needs a gentle cleansing if it\'s feeling a little irritated from make-up, make-up removers etc. It does not remove my make-up well. I\'ve seen no improvement in sun spots.
I tried this in place of using Dr Hauschka\'s Rythmic Night Conditioner. Which may not even come close, but the main ingredient appears to be the same. And this is priced much lower. I\'m pretty happy using this both at night after cleansing and in the morning after showering. The smell is fairly light. Although it does not list alcohol in the ingredients, sometimes it smells like it has alcohol in it.
This product is great, so light and absorbs easily, little bit of moisturizer, not greasy. I have combination skin and I can easily layer this under my liquid foundations if I only wait a few minutes. Never had any rolling. I only wish it came in tinted versions like a BB cream.
Like so many products purchased online, again I did not do my homework to find out enough about this product before purchasing. The 03 Subtle Peach is a great color and texture, a little lighter in person than on my screen. However, the product looks matte in the container, but once I put it on my eyes it shows a lot of shimmer. My late 30\'s skin does not need shimmer, especially since I wanted to use it as a highlighter. Next time I will stop by Whole Foods to test out the product - since these descriptions do not specify matte or shimmer. The saddest part is that the 09 Shimmering Ivory does specify.
I was so hopeful about this product since I like many Eminence products. I rarely have skin or eye sensitivity. The product removes makeup well. However, it is too soapy for me and suds up a bit. I do not like the smell, it reminds me of the white shoe polish I used on my moccasins back in \'86. It also stings my eyes, I will not purchase again. For now I will remove my eye makeup with a product I love, Vichy Purete Thermale 3 in 1 Calming Cleansing Solution, then use the Eminence to remove the makeup on the rest of my face, until I finish this bottle. I do like the dispenser.
This will work if you you need instant color. It looks shimmery out of the bottle but not shimmery on your skin. After six hours my skin looked too orange though, I\'m pretty fair skinned. This stuff smells bad too, both out of the bottle and after it processes. You definitely have to work it into your skin to blend well and evenly.
I have in the past used and loved Benefit\'s \'Gee That Was Quick\' or Vichy Purete Thermal 3 in 1 Cleaning Solution; either discontinued or discontinued on this site. So I tried this. I do not like it, because it is a gel it is sticky and you need more than a liquid. It will work, but for this price I can buy TWO bottles of some other Micellar type solutions to remove make-up.
Like others, I really like many Eminence products, and had high hopes that this would become a new favorite. I didn\'t find the smell so delish I had to eat it or too offensive, it is fine. However, I can\'t get it to blend well on my skin, I\'ve tried putting it on damp skin, dry skin and on top of a moisturizer (which defeats the purpose of this two-for-one). It rolls up and then have to wipe it off and start over again. I have slightly dry combination skin that clogs easily around my t-zone. I will likely go back to what my esthetician (sp) recommends: seperate moisturizer 1st, then sunscreen 2nd. I still love Elta MDs Clear SPF 46.
The good is that this is a great product and is very thick and moisturizing, it has a very faint lemon scent. The bad is that the price went up, it is now $70 for 0.5 oz when it used to be $80 for 0.7 oz. If you use a proper ratio for oz/price it should now cost $57 for the 0.5 oz container. I know they just repackaged this product, but both containers could be smaller - the plastic they use is super thick taking up unnecessary space in my carry-on quart size baggy. Does no one in the packaging industry travel? Since the price went up I\'m searching for a good alternative.
I used to use Benefit\'s \"Gee That Was Quick\" until they discontinued it and replaced it with another make-up remover in a different packaging that was of course the same price but smaller. I purchased this Neova make-up remover with the intent that it would be as good as the old Benefit product. I do not like this Neova product and will continue my search. This product is too soapy and sudds-y. It is not nearly as gentle around the eyes as the old Benefit product. I received a small sample of LaRoche-Posay\'s Micellar Solution and it seemed to work pretty well; I intent to purchase a full size bottle soon.
I was recommended this by someone via another SkinCareRx review I wrote. This eye cream is not good for day as it cakes around my eyes and fills in my wrinkles and lines with white. I met with the SkinMedica reps at a local medical spa, they agreed it was best for night since it cakes. I used just one jar, but didn\'t see any results. I won\'t try again unless the price comes way down to about $30. This will likely never happen. I really like Epionce\'s Renewal Eye Cream, it is very thick, rich and moisturizing.
I wanted a cleanser that would be gentle enough to use after chemical peels, microderm abrasion, etc. This is safe for post procedure use. i also was hoping it would remove make-up. It takes about two applications to get my make-up off, and I don't wear a lot of heavy make-up. Bare Escentuals powder or Smashbox tinted moisturizer. I was mostly disappointed by the thin film it leaves on my skin after use. This may be what the manufacturer intended, but i don't like it.
I thought I'd try this eye cream because the reviews were all good and water is not the #1 ingredient. I actually don't like the way it smells, not too strong, just smells very chemical to me. I like the Eminence Herbal Eye Contour Cream way better than this, it is so much richer for dehydrated eyes. This cream is slightly more of a gel consistency than I would prefer.
I was disappointed that I did not get a few of the products listed on the "what you MIGHT get" list. I was also very disappointed in the Kinerase Pro Therapy Advanced Radiance Facial Peel(s); three. They all were falling apart when I attempted to swipe them across my face as instructed. I think that is a really poor decision for SkinCareRx to offer expired products in their Cache of samples. I did pay for something. And SkinCareRx guaranteed themselves $75 in sales if I used the eCertificate, which I did. So why should I pay to receive expired products?
I liked some of the products in this Starter Kit. I really like the Stone Crop Serum. I have dry/combination skin and I liked using the Serum under a lighter moisturizer/sunscreen like Elta MD SPF 40. I also liked the Moisturizer which is nice and rich for my dry skin. I was disappointed in the Gel Wash and was expecting it to be more concentrated like Ilike's nettle exfoliating wash. I had to use a lot more of the product than I was expecting, and my skin didn't feel as clean as I like. I enjoyed trying the Gel Hydrator and Masque, but doubt I would repurchase. The Gel Hydrator might be good for someone with oily skin. I didn't care for the large chunks in the masque, seems like they could blend it a little more.
I decided to try this after trying the Ilike st. john's wort eye contour cream which was recommended by an Aesthetician. I like that water is not the # 1 ingredient. I also like that it is 1 oz so I could really give it a try, maybe I use too much, but 0.5 oz seems tiny even for my eyes. This cream is very rich and gentle enough that if I get it in my eyes it does not sting. Although if I am sloppy applying it, it can make my vision foggy if my contacts are in. I would consider purchasing this again, however I am still in search of an eye cream that significantly helps in reducing under eye creases. Suggestions?
The reason this does not foam much is because it is Sodium Laurel Sulfate-free, which is a good thing. I am disappointed in this product since I was hoping it would be more acidic or better at removing my make-up. I was also hoping to feel a little more of a stinging sensation, but did not. I have put this in my shower for morning use, since I like to use a more gentle cleanser in the AM than the PM.
Where are the ingredients for this product? Odd that the package says \"only Titanium and Zinc\" while the Key Ingredients lists Vit C and E.
IT: I tried to post a Review, but the option to choose a rating was unavailable.
I hope this worked out well for you. If I were in your shoes I would consult my doctor on using this product with your condition, it might make it worse. If you haven\'t been out of your house for four months, perhaps the laser therapy is the best alternative to getting your life back quickly. I\'m a huge fan of laser for hair removal and IPL/BBL for removing sun damage, but not familiar with what type of laser therapy is good for your condition. Good luck! If you have been using the PMD Personal Microderm, let readers know how it worked out.
My aesthetician recommended the Ilike line, which is how I stumbled upon Eminence at SkinCareRx. I do not use exclusively organic products, so any suggestion on under eye creases would be great. Thanks!
