Melasma finally starting to fade Since I began using this recently my melasma has started to fade quite a bit. This REALLY makes me peel too. I can't use it every night yet because of the redness and peeling. On my off nights I alternate using a soy moisturizer or a moisturizer with ingredients such as mulberry, arbutin, licorice, grapeseed, lemon and rosehip oil. I never use hydroquinone. During the day I use a soy sunscreen 30 SPF. I'm 44 years old and I developed melasma 5 years ago on my cheeks. I'm finally hopeful that I can get my clear skin back.
