I actually mix this with Xen tan self tanner and put it on my face daily as a makeup primer. It absorbs quickly and protects my skin well. Feels much less greasy and much lighter than other mineral sunscreens I've tried. Love it!!!
Nice but has white residues

If I try to use sufficient amount, my face will be covered in a while mask. I still like the 5% pro-niacin though, so I layer a little of this with a more translucent physical sunscreen. I think the active ingredient has some effect after sustained use.

I wear this daily with some Xentan self tanner, mix and apply to my face. It feels very light and lasts all day. I have been using this for years and it's helped me so much! I have Vitligo on my face so I try to avoid sun and it has worked beautifully! Will continue to repurchase. I have tried many other facial sunscreens and this is by far the best, most natural feeling one I have found. Others were way too heavy.
Natural Sunscreen and Lotion!

(I actually wrote this review on another sunscreen but it was meant for this one) I was so excited to come across a sunscreen that was ALL mineral based, no chemicals. That also acted as a lotion that addresses "issues." This is so surprisingly hard to find. It skips a step for me and I won't put sunscreen chemicals on my face everyday. NIA did it! And I was really excited about the Niacin Technology; I used to take Niacin Internally for acne.
I only got a sample, but was REALLY bummed, since I thought it was everything I wanted. It smells to me, for over a couple hours I can smell it and it bugs me. I do get the "flush" feel but that doesn't bother me since it makes me think the Niacin Ingredient is actually working. Aside from the smell I don't think I can get over, this feels a little heavy on my skin. Which might be a deal breaker. Jury is still out if I will buy this product.
White Residue Sadness

I really like the NIA 24 line. This is the first time using the mineral sunscreen. It goes on white and flakes off my skin unfortunately. I have added another SPF/moisturizer on top to make it settle in. I also avoid the eye brows as the white really settles into my thick dark brows. Will probably switch to the non-mineral to see if eliminates white flaky issue.

Used to be my go-to sunscreen because it is a total block plus has the added benefit of Niacin which is wonderful for the skin. Recently, it is a little more difficult to blend into the skin with its white residue. Still a great product, however.
Great facial sunscreen

Keeps face protected and soft. Almost like a moisturizer.

I bought the La Roche-Posay SPF, but will return back to NIA. I absolutely love this spf but thought the price was a little expensive. After trying another sunscreen, I realize how much I love NIA's SPF. It's hydrating, non-clogging and just wonderful! :)
Best sunscreen I've found so far

I've tried numerous sunscreens in an attempt to find that perfect one. This one comes close, I love that it's a physical block and non-greasy, plus it's actually good for your skin! The niacin has helped to fade my brown spots.
worth every penny and then some

My dermatologist recommended this to me after I started treatment for skin cancer. I have oily skin and had never found a sunscreen that didn't make my skin greasy. This product is the sole exception. Better yet, after using it for less than a month, the skin on my face, neck and chest looked clearer and firmer. One tube lasted me six months.

great 'treatment' sunscreen

This physical sunscreen is expensive, but worth it due to the fact that it includes topical niacin in it to help combat previous sundamage. I have been using it every morning for about 1 month or so, and have already noticed that the tiny capillaries around my nose are improving and appear to be fading. I have seen pictures on their website of pretty dramatic improvement in cases of sundamage; there is one in particular of a woman with significant improvement on her chest, check it out. It blends in easily as well. The only issue that I have with it, is that I wish it contained at least 5% ZnO2 instead of only 3.6%. But this should be enough for daily use. If I am going to be spending the entire day outside, I will probably put something else on top of it.
