Much creamier application to the skin and better surface for the device head to glide than when using the gel primer. It still dries out a little by the end of the treatment (on one side of the face at a time) -- so I recommend the hydrating mist to use along with the crème primer. But together the crème and mist make the skin surface exceptionally lubricated and want the highest possible gliding of the head on the skin to reduce the friction. With any of the primers, you definitely want to only apply to one area of the face at a time immediately before the treatment of that area, but I use the "round head" and the ELE attachment as well, so it's taking a little longer and the primer dries out too quickly to complete the entire treatment of one area. Recommend the crème primer over the gel however. It's more silky and stays lubricated longer.
