Good for sensitive, allergy skin.

I have sensitive skin, so it's not easy to find a product for me. That's why I'm worried about trying new product. SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel, however, is very good, especially for a flush. I haven't find other products are effective in calming like this. I highly recommend this product to somebody who has sensitive, allergy skin. Try this!

I'm a skin care fanatic and a doctor who reads ingredients carefully. I'm 40 with some hyper pigmentation and occasional hormonal acne, normal/combo skin.
I LOVE this product though I must admit I wasn't immediately impressed. It took time. There is no drastic difference in hyper pigmentation when used alone, though likely some benefit. I use in conjunction with stronger products - hydroquinone and retinols. HOWEVER, The beauty of this product is the soothing texture and the ability to hydrate weightlessly as well as calm skin after stronger irritants like retinols are used. So I always use this after a retinol or lactic acid serum and it does wonders to make these treatments much more tolerable to my sometimes sensitive skin. I also use it to thin down facial oils or heavier creams in the warmer months when I don't really need a heavy layer to obstruct my skin breathing. It works wonders for this as well.
I'm going to try the Phyto+ next, as it also has Kojic Acid in addition to the arbutin. I think this will amp up the control of my hyper pigmentation.
Great product for pigmentation

This is a great product for pigments reduction. It does its job, and it does not cause new breakouts. However, it takes time to do its job. Highly recommended for people who want to get rid of acne pigments/scars!
Worth its expensive price!

I am currently unemployed so I stopped buying my expensive Skinceuticals products. After spending a lot of money on cheaper organic-natural alternatives my face was dull, dehydrated, acne scars wouldn't fade, and I felt horrible. I returned to the Phyto Corrective Gel, because I can't afford to buy all the products simultaneously, and just in one week my face is 60% healthier. I live in a hot-humid climate and it works wonderful.

I started using this stuff when I was having chemicals peels done and it took the sting right out of my skin. It also helped reduce the redness so I didn't have to walk around all day with a red face after my peel. I also worked great on a daily basis for reducing breakouts…after I started using it, there were none!
Like this a lot!

I have aged, very sensitive skin. This product doesn't sting when I put it on!
It helps with the dryness and redness. I will keep using it.

Good for Retin-A redness

I follow the Obagi program & I have fair & sensitive skin that over-reacts to Retin-A with redness (tho the Retin A really helps other aspects). Last year, my aesthetician recommended the Phyto Corrective Gel (as well as reducing the prescribed strength of the Retin A) and the redness issue is now gone. I apply a tiny bit of the Phyto Corrective Gel after washing & toner -- and it feels so good!
Does what it says

I have used this product for 3 months and am extremely pleased. I have an olive skin tone that is very sensitive and would tend to get 'ruddy' from harsh products. This takes the redness away and I have been able to go without foundation if I want.
